I have used Gas Plus for many years but recently had a unique situation where the 2 cents off per litre as advertised for Wednesdays was not correct on the pumps. As the stations are franchised and Gas Plus controls all the pumps, after filling I noticed the error, I did go inside and mention it. The attendant said she had been trying to contact the office but had no luck.I tried contacting them several different ways but finally managed by email, they called me saying this was corrected now at my local station. I asked about the difference and was told they would make the arrangements, whether it would be cash at the station or fuel. My fueling was only 140 litres so we are not talking about a huge amount but $2.80 is still money. After over 1 week still no response so I contacted them again, this time I was told via email they would take care of this and I needed to send a copy of the receipt, which a did directly from their web portal still no response. They are now saying they need a copy of my card statement showing this was paid, like they do not trust their own receipts system. I will not send my card statement as my thought is their receipt showing , station, date, fuel amount, GST amount, and total charged to my card. Whether I have paid the card or not yet makes no difference to the amount charged.I have told ************** who was dealing with me I will be making this review and would also be advising all my friends, family and associates not to use their stations if they are not prepared to stand behind they corporate errors.

GP Fuels **** has portal on our website (www.gpfuels.com) called Web Receipts. Anyone who purchased fuel at one of our pay-at-the-pump locations can go to our website and find their receipt there. All you need to do is select the location and date of the transaction. This will return a list of all transactions at the site. Once you find your purchase, you can then either print the receipt or have it sent to you by email. As all of our pay-at-the-pump receipts are available for printing through our website, we require customers to provide proof that the transaction they are wanting a refund for actually belongs to them. This can be done by providing a screen shot of the charge on their credit card or the withdrawal from their bank account.
With regards to *********************, he went to our website and pulled up the receipt for $196.30 and sent it to us. If you look at all of the transactions on February 8th at *********, this happens to be the largest transaction of the day. We have never denied that there was a discrepancy between what the price per litre should have been and the amount he was actually charged. We have told him numerous times that all he needs to do is provide proof that the transaction in question belongs to him and we will issue him a refund for the difference. He simply refuses to provide us with the proof that the receipt he pulled from our website actually belongs to him.
Just as a retail store requires a refund to go back on the card used in the original transaction, we require customers to prove that the disputed transaction actually belongs to them so that the correct person receives the refund.
