In March we bought a new 2024 EV9 that died in the first week of ownership. It was eventually replaced with a new vehicle and we received a new bill of sale showing the *** of the replacement vehicle but we never received an updated loan document showing the replacement ***. Every week or two for the last two months we have been going back to the dealership to get an updated loan document that has the correct ***. I've also send several emails to the Finance Manager to follow up on getting the revised document. With every visit and every email response we get a new excuse but no document. We finally got fed up and contacted the bank directly. They confirmed that they have never received any documents from KIA West Edmonton to update the ***. This means that we are making payments against a vehicle (***) we don't even own and consequently there are no payments registered against the vehicle (***) we do own. On July 15th I sent an email to both the Finance Manager and the ** at KIA West Edmonton telling them what I discovered and strongly requesting that they resolve this issue ASAP. It is now July 24th 10 but it still has not been resolved. Repeated attempts to get the ** to take ownership of this issue have failed. He has never once responded to our requests for help. The bottom line is that the only one that can fix this problem is the dealership and they aren't doing it. We want to pay out our loan but we are unable to because of this issue.

Date of transaction, December 6, 2022, I had negotiated on the price of the car at West Edmonton Kia the dealership scam me on the new car interest rate rate as rate on the website 0% then when you enter the website and select the car 4.99%, but they had me on 9.49 interest rate, I did not receive the time to think about it. The finance manager asked me to sign the paperwork when I asked him that let me find a cosigner who can sign it for me, and we can bring them to sit down the finance manager mention that there is no other way. This is the current market interest rate . The interest rate was from the ** ****, but I called the bank and spoke with the auto finance department I was told that I was scammed big time by the Kia finance manager. I went back to the dealership in half an hour and ask them to cancel the contract, but they told me they cannot help me as the final contract was already sent to the bank , I haven’t picked up the car from the dealership. I called Kia Canada and I was told that this is just between me and the dealership this is a big-time scam going on with the current market inventory of the cars. I really don’t want to be paying 10% interest rate on a brand new vehicle and I just don’t want to get the vehicle. I just want this result and I also want my $500 deposit back, which I was refused.

I bought a 2022 kia carnival from here a few months ago. It's brand new, I've put 14k kms on it. 8 days ago the engine light came on and it went into "limp" mode which only allows it to drive 20km/hr. I phoned into kia roadside service multiple times, I was told a tow truck will come to bring it to edmonton which is 200km away. A tow truck has never arrived, I've called multiple times with the same thing happening. I talked with the manager **** at kia west edmonton and he assured me they would have a tow truck come to bring it in. It's now 8 days later and he won't return calls and I can't seem to get any help. Now I'm stuck without a vehicle to haul my family and no service or support from kia. This business should be avoided at all costs. Apparently you should only buy a kia if you live next door to the dealership.

Before we could take a test drive we were asked to give a $1000 dollar deposit, my husband paid this. Once we returned from the test drive we sat down with a member of the sales team to discuss the numbers, we were presented with a biweekly payment plan, which my husband indicated right away that he would be looking for monthly payment. The full price and fees were not provided at this time. My husband signed a work agreement, and we were taken to see ***** to go through the financial paperwork. After $10,000 trade in on our 2019 Jetta and $5000 dollars down the finance amount on the Kia Seltos was going to be $51,000. Seeing this price, my husband was immediately taken aback, he said he couldn't sign anything and needed time to think about it. We left the dealership, we returned later the same day and advised that we would not be able to financially afford the purchase and requested the $1000 deposit back. My husband was advised that the accountant had left for the day and that he would have to come back another day to receive his deposit back. My husband works 10 days out of town and 4 home, so he advised that he would be back in on his next days off (October 21-24) for his deposit, there was understanding and handshakes all around. On October 21st, my husband returned to Kia West Edmonton to get his $1000 dollar deposit back and was very rudely advised by the sales manager **** that the $1000 was non-refundable. At no time until dealing with **** was my husband told that the $1000 was non-refundable, quite the opposite actually, only that the accountant was unavailable on the same day and he would need to return at a later date. I would like my husbands $1000 deposit returned.

Today I came from Calgary to Edmonton to pick up my 2022 Kia Telluride SX from the East Edmonton Kia dealer. When inspecting the car, I found 3 significant defects: 1 - a large deep scratch on the rear bumper, 2 - A dent in the roof near the sunroof. 3 - Damage to the front bumper when installing a block hitter. *** *****. I informed the general sales manager Goran S******. My car was sent to the service area for inspection. While the inspection was going on, I signed a contract and asked that the above damages be included in the sale bill. The financial manager of Edgar A***** ******* ******** included this in the contract. I signed all the documents and the loan agreement - the car was bought on credit. Also in the process, I offered several options on how we can solve the problems that have arisen. But as it turned out and as I understood from the conversation, the dealership employees missed the moment of accepting the car from the manufacturer and the transport company and did not indicate damage 1 and 2. Also, when general sales manager Goran S****** found out that financial manager of Edgar A***** ******* ******** had included damage in the sale bill, they began to demand that I return my copy and remove this information, since they do not want to be financially responsible. general sales manager Goran S****** pre-arranged a rear bumper repair (1 is a large, deep scratch on the rear bumper) today, right now at the dealership. But when I refused to change an already signed sale bill, they said there would be no repair until I handed over and signed a new bill without stating the damage. Further, when I said that I will not return my copy and will not change documents general sales manager Goran S****** and financial manager of Edgar A***** ******* ******** , they began to put pressure on me and threaten, WHAT !!!!! they will not send the documents to the bank and in a couple of days they will write a statement to the police that I stole a car.
