***************************************************************************************** This place got slammed by *** this year for being a bunch of scam artists. Don't know how they are keeping reviews up on ******* Must be deleting bad reviews or something. Don't trust these guys and go see literally any other dealer. They won't be honest with you won't tell you what you are even buying and will blindside you with tons of add-ons to the final sale price. Have a friend who bought a car here and they had 20 grand in adons tacked on without even telling them what the add-ons are. When they asked later they wouldn't tell them and just "you signed" disgusting business practices. Hope this place gets shut down by someone. Shame on you.

6 minutes ago NEW If I could give them negative 10 stars I would!!! These guys are a joke!!! We tried to reach out to Kia West Edmonton several times and even sent an email to the dealer principal (*******************************)but got pretty much laughed at and ignored. Here in Alberta dealerships have to sell the advertised price but we were scammed almost $12k in extra charges we did not need or ask for. They told us that we needed to have the extended warranty of $3500.00 to secure our financing. It was all LIES and also illegal. The finance manager (*************************) rewrote the deal after showing us the original deal and before signing. When we tried to cancel the warranty Industrial Alliance said it was too late because it was past 10days. Then we were charged tire warranty on a used vehicle to find out they are just cheap Canadian Tire tires. Shall I go on? The advertised price was $16,900 and we paid $28,900... plus we put a deposit of $7,000. Absolutely ridiculous, and I will shame #kiawestedmonton and #kiacanada until they make it right with us!!!#scammers #kiawestedmonton #***** #shoptoyota #liars #yeglocal #badcustomerservice #kiasucks

And it looks like you sign and agree on all of it,but actually you only sign deposit. Kia west edmonton is worse dealership that I ever put my feet in. Stay away from this bad people

Hello, Greetings! My name is Amarjot Singh, I purchased a brand new KIA SELTOS on October 19, 2021 from West Edmonton Kia. When I finalized my new Kia Seltos 2022 model on 3rd September 2021 with your salesperson I was told “deal is for $220 biweekly if we changed this price or go above it, you can cancel the deal and we will return your $2000 back”. Later after a month, they called me for signing the documentation I was surprised and shocked as the payment we had earlier decided as $220 biweekly for the car was increased to $230. When I asked them politely that what was reason for increasing by biweekly payments, they replied it’s a bank fees, we are not charging you for anything. After that I reminded him, that salesperson did not tell me about any hidden charges, and we already had discussion with salesperson that if you are increasing biweekly amount then we don’t have a deal and we want our $2000 back. Finance manager answered, “No we are not going to give any amount back as you are walking off from the deal”. As Finance manager are not honouring the same amount, I asked him can you please write the reason that why were you not returning my booking amount i.e. $2000 as we agreed on $220 instead of $230 biweekly payment, After hearing this they didn’t said anything and agreed on $220 bi- weekly. Secondly, as you’re aware that winters are very hard in Alberta that is why it’s very difficult to get an appointment for changing winter tires. After waiting for one month, finally I got an appointment from Canadian Tire on 8th January 2022. But when I went there, they told me that they need tire lock key to change all season to winter tire and then I searched my vehicle but tire key was not there. So, I straight away went to my dealer ship from where I bought my kia. Over there I first talked to service department about the key as well as about appointment (which i will talk later in other points). They told me that I should talk to the person who sold me this car. So I went to sales department and asked the receptionist that I want to talk with sales manager ‘Ryan’ from Kia West Edmonton, Edmonton, Alberta. I explained my problem to Mr. Ryan and he replied “Thats not possible. I have 10 years working here. Yes we have done mistakes like this in past years but I trust my parts team that they inspected the car before giving it to you.”. I mentioned that I wasn’t aware by anyone that this car comes with wheel lock and wheel lock key. While giving the car on October 19,2021, they handed over me the car’s manual, two car keys and paint Markup Sketch pen. In addition to that Jim showed me an extra tire in the hood along with jack. But he never mentioned about the tire lock key. Mr. Ryan told me that why you only have two log nuts for the tire instead of four. When I asked him could you please provide me a solution to resolve this so that I will not miss my appointment. He reverted that we can break your tire locks and you can purchase a new one from us. I wanted to tell you that I already have Kia Forte Lx for 4 years and back then your customer service was great and I always recommended to my friends that do not doubt this brand. What type of customer service is this dealership providing to your loyal customers? I mentioned to Ryan that its a brand-new car with only 5000km on it and you are asking me to break these locks and get the new one. He again mentioned “I trust my team; mistakes were in past now we check everything. If you don’t have the key which means either you have it at home or lost it. I would suggest you find it at home. Its not possible that you have two log nuts and not four. But still if you want to break the lock from tires I would do that but for the new one you have to pay”. He also mentioned about a yellow or orange bag, but when I was showed whole car on 19 October, there was none in the hood nor in gloves compartment. This is not the first time Mr Ryan has given me rude answers like this. Lastly, as here in Edmonton temperature goes below -40, I started using a block heater so that in the morning my car starts with ease. To my uttermost disbelief when I was trying to get to work on 4 January 2022, the car didn’t start, kia evo app shows an error that I did not start my car in days. The night before, I completed a trip of almost 35km. On January 3, 2022, started my car at 11:30 pm to park it on the driveway and plug it in. I went outside to see what’s going on. Well, my remote wasn’t working, I couldn’t open the doors, they were locked, my car was not even making any sound. It was a strange moment as I didn’t face any problem with my kia 2018 forte but I was facing a lot of issues with this “Brand New Kia Seltos SX Turbo”. I was recommending kia to all my friends because of the cool features they were offering and my previous experience with this Brand. But imagine how would they react when people found out that my Brand new kia didn’t even start at -25 temperature even though it was plugged in. So, around 6:30 I called roadside Assistance and they told me that wait time is 30 hours. I was already late for my work, so I called uber to go and come back from work. Next morning on January 5, 2022, 9:26 AM Roadside assistance came and jump started my car. It did start but the mechanic mentioned that the voltage in battery is too low, it might be an issue with starter or alternator and advise me to start my car for at-least 1 hour. After one hour I came inside and went out to start my car again but it didn’t, I tried multiple time even with portable starter but it didn’t work. So I have to call Roadside assistance again to jump start, and they mentioned that wait time is 37 hours. But mechanic came in the evening and jump started it again, it was the 2 mechanics who mentioned this is the first time we have seen a “Brand New Car” needing a boost. They advised me to go to a dealer for a full checkup. I have booked my appointment on January 10 at 8:00 AM. Just a day before my appointment, my Brand new vehicle didn’t start. I had to call road side assistance again. Somehow it started with jump starter, and temperature outside was -25 and brand new kia was plugged in. Next day mechanic did run some test on battery and alternator but didn’t found anything. It was my first winter with this car and it disappointed me with all levels. I did wanted to bring it yo kia canada on how there so called dealership are treating there customers under big brands name. So i started filling web form. The first form was filled on January 8 2022. After submitting they said they will email me the case number, which I didn’t got. They said someone will call me within 48 hours which they didn’t. Its full week now and still haven’t got any call. So I decided to fill the form again and i will do it again and again. I still haven’t got any case number but this time i did took a screenshot of my submission. I don’t care if the dealership is independently owned, if the dealership has a Kia name on it, it is indirectly owned by kia. And kia should take all the responsibility. By saying that they are privately owned and they can’t do anything, they should be allowed to operate. In pst two weeks, i am insulted by kia dealership, i am told i am lying and lost items, i am charged what i was not given and should be included, i am paying for my car and still the wheels are locked and key is either with dealership or kia, dealership refused to fix and is charging me for solution, kia doesn’t even care to call or reply. What kind of service is this? Is this how kia canada and its dealership treat customers? Loyal customer? Such an embarrassment infront of all my known people whom i say “Buy kia and you will never regret your decision “ and now i am regretting and had no solution. There have already been so many issues with this car and the dealership within 2 months. The way they are treating me I can’t trust them with my car, and the way car is performing its hard to trust the Kia Brand anymore. I haven’t even mentioned the cheeky voice coming from front suspensions whenever it goes from a bumpy road or suddenly the car play not working and than automatically starts working. Still waiting for a call or email or a reply from kia. Jan 14 2022
