      Was told an item was green and was finishing ng my order and it charged my card 90 dollars was supposed to pay for 10 for shipping only. Its a fraud. They tell u its free and u paying for shipping and they add all these others charge to ur card. Its misleading and I want a refund of 90 US dollars

      This company claims to send out a hardcover free book after paying apprx 9.95 U.S shipping and handling. They then attempt to charge for additional books even if u don't want them. Bait and switch. Altho I cancelled immediately, within 2 minutes, they are still trying to access my account.

      This company offers a free book on ********* and then you just have to pay almost $10 in shipping. Before you can finish checking out, they have add-ons of e-books of menus. They claim they are $6 each or even down to $2. I only said yes to the first one which was $6. I received only one e-book, but I was billed $47. It should be just under $16 for shipping and the one e-book. It never shows you the check-out total again with the add-ons before it charges you, and then it's too late to argue. They are dishonest and not advertising correctly, as well as overcharging for something that wasn't worth anything.

      They described the books to purchase as hardback books, but after you buy you find out that the books are ebooks. I have told them i have no computer to download ebooks, but they do not offer a refund.

      May 14, 2024 I received an amazon/Peapils publishing email stating I could get a free book for the cost of shipping. I decided to order the hardcover book that I was expecting. Never received. Also as you are trying to get to the final bill you are asked early on for your credit card. Then you go thru a series of offers for more books at discounted rates. But in fine prints it says per book. Then I expected to get to a page for the final bill, where I had decided not to order the other books. Especially when I realized it was digital and that it was per book. But that final bill never materialized. Instead, it said thanks for your order. I never saw the final bill until an email came and I immediately requested a refund when I realized I had just been scammed. They refused to do so and then offered a $40 gift card. I was going to accept it but again thought it might still be further scamming me. I have requested a refund twice now. They are still refusing to comply. I have never downloaded any of the books. I don't read books online. I collect recipe books for my son-in-law who is a chef. I can't give him a digital book as a physical gift. I have read the other complaints, and they sound VERY familiar. I'm a senior and this is taking advantage of the elderly.

      I was looking to place an order for a $9.99 book and while trying to check out there were optional add-ons that you could add presented with low pricing. I added some to my order but the add-ons never stoped so I started clicking "no thanks" after clicking through several "no thanks" I was not presented with a cart to review and the order was placed without me knowing what I was ordering.I then get an order confirmation for $75 of products that I did not see in a cart or have the ability to edit/remove from the cart before placing the order, so I DID NOT authorize the tranaction.I contacted the company and they said they do not refund for digital content. I did not accept this transaction not did I click on any of the digital links sent to me. The webiste is designed to be misleading and not showing me a cart before processing my order is out right fraudulent. I will be disputing all charges with my bank.

      On 5/5/24, I purchased a cook book from Peapil Publishing. When going through the purchase process, I was offered additional books - such as 'The Ultimate Mediterranean Package with the Mediterranean Meal Plan' and 'Mediterranean Desserts'. The prices listed for these were shown as $6.16 and $4.66 - what they fail to show you is that this is actually a bundle you are purchasing, so it is $6.16 and $4.66 per book within the bundle - so the $6.16 because $37 and the $4.66 became $18.64. This is NOT clearly shown when clicking through the screens, nor is it shown on the final confirmation screen for your purchase. The FIRST time I saw the actual price was after the purchase was completed and when the charge was completed.       On April ****** I ordered a book from Peapil Publishing. It had additional offers. it said one was 6 dollars. So, I ordered them. Turns out the 6 dollar one was 37 dollars and the other one is *****. AND Id have to print them on my own computer.They say the website offer is clear.. It is not. This could have been on ********* I cancelled as soon as I saw they were ebooks. They said NO, you have to pay for them. I protest I Cancelled and return replied right away.Sneaky ********* It order ********* I havent paid I was billed.

      I ordered a recipe book from this company and they said **** had a dessert recipe book called Desserts on the Mediterranean (******** Friendly Desserts)...they did not mention it was an ebook. I cannot access an ebook on my phone and that is why I do not purchase them. Besides, I have to many eye issues and the book has to be right in front of me so I am free to access it. I requested a refund $8.95 and they refused saying I have the email. Which I do not. I cannot find their so called email. I want a refund that is all. They were wrong when they did not state it was an ebook. Had I known I would not have purchased it as I previously stated. Cunsumers should be alerted to this fact. There were all sorts of offers popping up and you had to click on No thank you not interested....when I clicked on this book there was nothing there that stated it had to be read over the net.
