I’ve been going to Dan Hansen for years I think 6 years. Sure there have been issues but they stood behind it and fixed it. This time I’ve been in 6 times for my heater. Never had any issues for 14 years on this issue until I took it in. Oh it this or oh it’s this or ok it’s this. And when you’re driving 7 hrs in -12 weather (Dec 16th) with no heat - enough is enough. I took it back in still under warranty Dec 16 and was told we won’t charge you this time. Wow. I’m done this place is a joke they do things to get more money and then treat you like garbage. I have brought them a lot of business as well and I’m treated like this. I can list so many issues I’ve had there from wiring not hooked up correctly, to lighting being hooked up what looks like was done by a 3 year old to damaged bumper to heat not working to name a few. I asked for the O2 Sensors to be replaced and they didn't - 5 mins down the road the light came on again. I took it somewhere else. I’m done and advise people to check around. I would like $6000 back for all the repairs and lead ons to fix this. I will spend this at a shop that knows what they are doing and not guessing on my dime.

When I approached them with issues they said oh it might be this do they tried fixing the dampner or flaps, next it was something else and than the expensive one was to pull the dash and put in a new heater core. this was done during the summer.  Heat stopped working, took it in and it was fixed and than it stopped again, took it in again and it stopped again and they fixed it again and still no heat. I was treated like I wasnt there and that they were doing me a favour.

The refund will go to the one repair I had done because they didn't do it that was $600 I think I will find the receipt and the rest is to get this issue fixed that they didn't do and that I paid for.  If they would like to pay directly to the place i'm getting fixed Im fine with that as well. But when i have have to drive 7 hrs in -12 weather freezing and windows fogging I draw the line

Im not to sure they would have the details on the days.  I took it in for the starter as it went and it was towed in.  Than sat for a week while one guy was on vacation and the other was sick.  Starter is fine, but they didnt replace the O2 Sensor like I asked.  I had it done at another shop and had it done right.

When they did my heater they didnt hook up stuff and hooked up wiring up wrong.  This is wasted time and money for me.

      I dont recall every fix

Since the current mix door actuator appeared to be stuck (March), they replaced it. But because the heat has once again ceased working, They did something else again in April if I recall. Than they changing the heating core and thermostat, and then refilling with fresh antifreeze would fix it. Well that was summer.  Went to use in Nov and no heat had it fixed and 3 weeks later not working again.  So they flushed it and had heat, than it stopped again in -12 for 7 hrs of driving.  So I brought it in Dec 16 were they fixed it, but i still have no heat.  I was treated like grap and told That they wouldnt charge me even though its still under warrenty and didnt fix anything.  So first step is to chemically flush the system and than back flush the heater core. Once that is done is road test to see if its working.  I feel this stystem was flushed and when they put in the core it cloged up.  They may have also not used a OCM part
