I used Maid in Your Hometown for cleaning last summer, and was pleased with the work, so decided to try them again for a move out cleaning. Well, if they actually showed up perhaps they would have done a cleaning job, but they never did. I booked to have 2 cleaners come in on April 3rd. When I woke up that morning I had a text and an email from Maid in Your Hometown (or **** *** ***, whoever they are), sent at 12:32 a.m., saying the cleaning technician had an emergency and would have to schedule. When I contacted them to ask about the 2nd cleaning technician that was supposed to arrive, I was told they also could not make it. But no reason why. They said they could have someone come at 5pm, but that was too late. So they said they would have someone come at 2pm, and would confirm with me at noon. Well noon arrived and no confirmation, and 2 arrived and no one showed up. I phoned them again and they said they could send a cleaner Monday morning for 2 hours. At this point I had been working frantically to clean my house and prepare for viewings, so agreed a cleaner for 2 hours Monday morning would be great. Of course no one showed up Monday morning either. I called, and was told, once again, that the cleaning technician had an emergency. So, in the end, after 3 scheduled cleanings, no one ever did show up, But I did receive a notice saying my cleaning had been completed and a link to pay the bill. So, be warned, they are not reliable.

I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible experience using this service. I booked for a move out and the cleaner showed up with her helper husband. Husband so very unprofessional and broke my toilet! Snapped the flush handle right off. I specifically requested NOT to clean the bathroom as I had already completed this room. I didn't notice the toilet broken until after they left and I'd paid, because why would I check the room I asked NOT to be done. Will now cost me $250 to replace. I had requested walls washed, doors and frames, window casings and blinds cleaned. They didn't actually clean anything just moved a wet rag around. I had to ask for a redo but they still didn't actually clean the walls. Then, the cleaner tried to recruit me for private cleanings saying she'd "give me her number so I won't have to book through the company". A hard no and I regret booking with this company.

Easy booking process and they came on time. I rally like how easy is the process and the cleaning was great. I do recommend.

This company never shows up to do the job. They booked me 4 times and didn't show up or advise me that they were not attending. ***********************************************************

They did a great job in cleaning my very messy place. They were able to assist my requests and the cleaner that went to my place was very professional. She was very fast in cleaning my house ****** ** ******* *** **** ***** ** **** ****. I would totally hire this company again.

Horrible Company to work with. I wish I could give 0 Stars. They sent a cleaner to my home on the wrong day and called me repeatedly and they had the nerve to blame me. On the actual day of clean, a person showed up who I thought was going to clean my home but ended up wasting the whole day and couldn't clean anything properly from what I saw after inspection the next morning. She didn't touch my appliances at all or sink, left debris on the kitchen floor and living floor, couldn't even vacuum properly. She didn't come with a vacuum. They made me supply the vacuum. They had someone show up to be trained and never consulted me or the cleaning person. My order was 4 hours and they sent her there and she didn't leave as she didn't have a ride home so I had to pay for her to stay 7 hours plus half hour to figure out her pay and then another half hour to get a ride. In the end I paid a ton of money and got horrible service. We had to fully vacuum the house and I had to clean the kitchen and bathrooms myself. You should see how she left the bathtub. I am disgusted that this company could **** me like this and they say you have no recourse because I should have complained earlier. Give me a break people. I will never use your service again *** **** *** **** **** ********* ** **** ****** *** ordered 4 hours and you make them pay almost double is ridiculous. It will catch up with you believe me.

I hired Maid In Your Hometown after multiple bad experiences with another company (one that claims to be ********). I explained my situation with working crazy hours and needing some help with house cleaning. We agreed to an appointment the next day at noon. They canceled on me at 10:15. I had the place ready to clean, all my stuff out of the way and worked around my schedule so I could be home to inspect the cleaning as they recommended. I do not recommend Maid In Your Hometown.
