August 17, 2022, informed you that the flooring is starting to separate. After several failed attempts, you would book appointments then not show up, to have someone come to assess and fix the issue. December 13, 2022 you put duct tape on the flooring. While in our home you pointed out that an area needed to be sanded near the fridge to stop the separating in the flooring. Later in an email you proceeded to accuse that there is and I quote, evidence of past or current water damage to the floor. Once we can rule out a current leak we can then take steps to repair []. Therefore, I independently hired a plumbing company to evaluate dishwasher, they confirmed that the dishwasher was not leaking and the area was completely dry there was absolutely no water damage. The duct tape December 13 was not sufficient, More tape was not added to the area until on or after December 22.January 3, 2023 you and your installer arrived to repair the flooring. You verbally mentioned the need of sanding a high spot in front of the fridge, you dismissed any questions on work performed in my home. At this time you glued floor boards together.January 26 I informed you that the area is still not right, air pocket like area that you can visibly see move when walked. Did not respond to correspondence. May 8 sent you photos of where the flooring is now coming apart. June 7 without coming to our home to assess any flooring and I quote, after talking with rep for the flooring company, we have agreed that believe it is a site condition not material or labour related causing the repetitive problem in the same area of the house and that we suggest you hire a 3rd party professional flooring inspector to come out and evaluate the floor. I am confident he will have the same conclusion.July 24 certified professional flooring inspector concludes the cause for our continued flooring issues an installation issue.July 26 provided you report and request to correct the installation issueBusiness response

Aug 17: Hi Chad, We have noticed one section of flooring starting to separate at the seam (not sure how else to explain it). This when stepping in that area creates a raised sharp edge. Aug 17, sept 9 and sept 26 Chad agreed to come to fix the area. All time were cancelled or didn’t show up. Then Chad said they are to busy booked for Dec 12, again no show and no contact to let me know they were not coming. My young son has hurt his foot as have myself on the raised sharp area. *** ******* **** **** ******* ****** *** ***** *** ** *** **** ******* ******** ** *** ******* If this business cannot repair this defect within a reasonable amount of time, I have already been pushed back since August so 4 months going on 5 then I would expect a refund to be able to hire someone else to come and fix the floor to not be a hazard.Business response

We have been buy January 3rd and repaired the problem. After taking the floor apart for the repair we found evidence of previous water damage we repaired the floor for the customer. We had an install die suddenly and one who injured himself that required surgery. That is why a delay and getting out. When the customer notified us of the complaint I instructed her to put tap over it until we could get there. I hope this clears up the matter
