I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Skip the Dishes. As a frequent user, I rely on this service for convenience, but the repeated failures have made my experience incredibly frustrating. I regularly order from ********** for my children, and nearly every order arrives with missing items. Despite my persistent efforts to address these issues by requesting refunds for missing items, I have now been banned, as Skip the Dishes suspects me of scamming due to the frequency of my complaints. This is absolutely unacceptable for a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars supporting this delivery company. As a customer, I should not be penalized for the incompetence of the restaurants you partner with. The lack of effective quality control has repeatedly left my children disappointed and my orders incomplete. This situation needs urgent attention to ensure that customers receive the service they deserve.Review from Traci T

Skip the dishes can’t get it right. They continually miss large items from my orders, and all they offer is “a refund for the selected items” or a skip credit. When I wait for an hour and then don’t get my food I ordered, they don’t seem to see that this is more than just an oops. And I don’t have an interest to continue to order from them, skip credits aren’t fixing anything.Review from Tryphena C

I was given a promotion for $**. When I went to pay, I didn’t realize they had jacked up the price so I immediately cancelled the order. When I contacted support, they said it was going to be applied to my actual bill and I could use it after 24 hours as it seemed like an app glitch. I was told the same thing by 2 different people. I reported to Skip and asked for refund. The representative said I will be refunded with my money in 3 days. After 3 days, I asked them about the status and got to know that I will not be refunded and they keep ending the chat. For some reason, even with my bad previous experience with Skip the Dishes, I had the ***** idea to order from them again. Never again. ******* * ********** ***** *** ** ****** **** ******** *** ***** *** ** ********** I received a ******* order that was wrong, with several items I hadn't ordered, while missing most of the ones I had in fact ordered. But hey, both me and whoever ordered what I got both ordered a Frosty, ** **** *** ****** *** **** * ****** Even with picture proof of the baked potato and cheeseburger etc that I DIDN'T order, and the fact I reordered my missing items ten minutes later (still gotta eat) they denied a refund for any of it. Because I had asked for refunds before when they messed up. ** ** *** *** **** *******. ** ******* ****** *** **** *** *****. ** * ***** **** **** **** * **** * ****** I had the most frustrating and terrible experience from SkipTheDishes! I ordered my food for delivery at approximately 8:30pm, at 8:54pm I received a call from the restaurant saying the driver picked up the wrong order. The driver messaged me to retrieve my order from him. He was down the street! He wanted me to cross the street to retrieve my order rather than deliver it to my door. When the driver was delivering the incorrect order at my place, I had the restaurant still on the phone to explain to the driver. The driver refused to accept accountability and left without offering a solution to my problem. Worse, he marked my order as delivered. When I complained to customer service chat, I left a detailed explanation. They didn’t even read it. After 25 minutes of “looking into it” they stated the order was delivered earlier and to check outside. Unbelievable! I once again explained that the driver picked up the wrong order. She promised us a refund and skip credits, as well as our food delivered by a new driver in 20 mins. After 40 minutes I contacted the restaurant. They said no one came to pick up the food. I contacted skip again, explained EVERYTHING that happened. Just for them to say “it’s marked as delivered” when I complained they said nothing they can do then disconnected the chat! I complained once more. This has now been going on for 2.5 hours, with NO FOOD. She offered me a $* credit. And stated they could not issue another driver to deliver the food. A food delivery company cannot send a driver to deliver food? It is now 11:21 pm and still no food. ************* ** ********** ********** ** ******** ******** I have been a loyal skip user for many years now. Even when they make mistakes, I continue to use their service. The only times I submit for a refund is when items are missing or items are damaged. A week ago I received spoiled/rotten food that caused food poisoning. I submitted for a refund, and was vehemently denied and told because I submit too many refunds, I am banned from ever receiving a refund again. Then the chat was ended. So I messaged their Facebook page, and was told the matter was escalated and I'd receive contact within 24 hours. Now with repeated attempts at contact I have been ignored for a week thus far. I think it is absolutely atrocious that a customer is being penalized for holding the company accountable for missing or damaged items. ******* * ****** *** *************** ***** ** *****. Telling a customer they have to accept missing/damaged items is nothing short of a *********** Forcing a customer to accept spoiled food with no recourse is *****. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against SkipTheDishes regarding a highly unprofessional and unacceptable experience I have encountered on two separate occasions. Most recently, I placed an order through SkipTheDishes, providing specific instructions to the delivery driver to call or text me upon arrival, as the door to my workplace is locked. Despite these clear instructions, the driver left my food on the dirty floor outside my workplace without contacting me, an act I find both unsanitary and disrespectful. This is not the first time this has happened, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability from the company. Following this incident, I contacted SkipTheDishes to raise my concerns, and I was assured that I would receive a credit as compensation. However, despite being promised this credit, it was never applied to my account. When I placed a subsequent order, I spoke to an online representative to confirm that the credit was available, but they falsely assured me that it would be applied during the payment process. Needless to say, this was not the case, and once again, I was misled. When I reached out to customer service after the order to address the issue, I provided all the relevant details, including the order number from the previous incident. However, instead of resolving the matter, the representative claimed they could not see any record of the promised credit. Even worse, after this interaction, SkipTheDishes completely stopped responding to my communications, leaving me without any resolution. **** **** ** * ********** ***** ***** ***** ******** ****** *** ******** I placed an order today that showed 26-34 mins for delivery. AFTER processing the order and taking the funds, this changed to 128 mins. Wth?!? This has happened to me numerous times. I've had to leave 2 orders go to waste on my front step because of this. And getting a refund seems impossible. They'll only give you credits to use in app. **** ** ****** *** ******** ******** ********
