Mike was great. He came in and was very thorough with his inspection. reviewing the manual and carefully inspecting all the installation points. I was very happy with his thoroughness but not happy with him finding issue with the original install. He found somethings that need to be address and I am waiting for a quote from super value. He did say that I should look into the original installer but unfortunately the original installing company is out of business and is not able to be reached. The young men introduced themselves and explained what they were going to do. They are a very efficient team even taking before and after pictures for me to see. The woman who set the appointment assured me that I’d receive a call 30 minutes before when they’d arrive. I did receive notification they were on their way. I had Super Value Home Services to my home back in mid-April to disconnect and move my a/c unit in preparation for a foundation repair. I had them back today to reinstall/reconnect the a/c. In both instances they called before they came, were pleasant to deal with, both on the phone/in-person and thorough in their work. I learned some information about both the a/c and furnace that I wasn’t aware of before today! Their pricing was in line with other quotes I received. Had them out to do a sofa/love seat cleaning. We have had them done before, different company, no issues. Had tons of communication prior to service….now that I have complained, no communication! One arm of the love seat look 1/2 dirty, there is a definite line you can see, wasn’t there prior. They used a rug doctor type machine that left the sofa/love seat soaked and quite wrinkled. I have tried to vacuum but the wrinkles will not go away, hopefully in time. Also marks from the wand will not disappear. ***** ******* Not satisfiedSuper Value Home Services Response

Hello Brenda, I am so sorry that you were not pleased with your experience with our company. Client satisfaction is our top priority, and I am sorry we didn’t hit the mark for you. We take all client concerns seriously and try our very best to help solve the concern as soon as we can. Your work was done April 27, 2023 and you reached out to us on April 29, 2023 to discuss your concerns. You were offered a free reservice appointment for Monday May 1st between 12 pm to 4 pm, but you declined as you needed the appointment to be 2:30 pm or later. Unfortunately, we were not able to accommodate that time request and need a 4-hour period of time where a client is available for us to schedule them in. On May 1, 2023, we reached out to you via email about your concerns and let you know that we would have one of our Owners get in touch with you. Our Owner reached out to you May 3rd and May 4th and left voicemails for you. Connecting via phone was proving to be problematic given each of your schedules, so communication happened via email on May 5, 2023. The email you received from our Owner said the following: ‘Hello Brenda, I apologize for all the confusion surrounding your sofa. My understanding is you are not happy with the wand marks or imprints left on your sofa after cleaning. Unfortunately, lines or marks from cleaning tools are very common on any fabric or carpet with a pile. This is no different then the lines that are often left on a carpet or piece of furniture after running a vacuum over it. The lines, I assure you always dissipate over time as people walk, sit and live on their carpets or furniture. Having said this however if you want to endeavor to blend the lines more quickly, then attempting to blend the imprints with a towel would be the best bet as recleaning would just result in more imprints. We would be happy to come by and offer this service for free, the only request we have is that you schedule this free service on a day when you are flexible for time. I’m told you have been very firm on the fact this free service must take place after 2:30 pm. Is there a day Mon-Sat where you have flexibility? We would love to send a crew out to see what we can do, we just need some cooperation from you so we can schedule this in. If you are free all day tomorrow, let me know and we will fit you in tomorrow. We will do our best to provide a morning appointment as you prefer but I just need to know if you are flexible in case morning is not possible. Please advise asap as we will begin scheduling for tomorrow shortly. ‘ After that email there was a phone conversation that took place shortly after where the client swore at the Owner and unfortunately the client did not/ would not find a date where they had a little bit more flexibility on time. It is very unfortunate as a majority of our business each year is repeat business and we rely on word-of-mouth referrals. As for the equipment used in her home; we clean thousands of properties each year both residential and commercial properties. Our equipment is top of the line and is most definitely not a rug doctor. We are happy to come out for free reservices for our clients if they have any concerns as our goal is always to have long term business relationships with our clients. And even if this client hadn’t reached out to us initially with her concerns, we are very proactive and reach out to all of our clients a couple business days later to see how everything went. But in this instance, the client was not able to be made happy and we will not be doing work for this client again in the future.Customer Response

I had agreed on a Saturday visit but the call wasn’t all as polite as they made it out to be. They kept insisting it was a “free” service which is why they wouldn’t do after 2:30pm. Carpet cleaning and removal of pet smell after the effect is not good again spraying agents at the door to pay attention to whether the smell is completely removed. Hello Pozhou, Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback, I am sorry that you are not happy with the recent Carpet Cleaning service we provided for you, we always do our best to address all the concerns that clients have when booking one of our services! Unfortunately, pet urine odors can be difficult to remove as it depends on the frequency of accidents that happen on the carpets and how much time passes before it is cleaned and treated. The only way to guarantee that these odors will be 100% gone is to replace the carpet altogether. Of course, it doesn’t always have to come to that, we have premium disinfectants that can be applied to the carpet to kill odor-causing bacteria in an attempt to remove the smell. You purchased our Antimicrobial disinfectant onsite which is a botanical hospital-grade disinfectant that continues to kill bacteria for up-to 7 days after the application, this was offered to you onsite at half of the regular cost. All our services are backed by our Written Guarantee which entitles you to a second application of the product at no extra cost if the smell is still present after the 7-day period, which was done for you yesterday, February 15th. Again, please allow another 7-days for the product to fully take effect. I understand you are unhappy, but I hope you can see that, although we did not cause this issue, we have offered all we can in our efforts to resolve this for you. Please know that we value your business and would like to work with you again, a $** credit was added to your file which will never expire and can be used towards any of our services, we hope to earn your business back!Review from Eunice P

We were able to get very prompt service for cleaning a wall-to-wall carpet. One technician suggested that we also buy an application of a carpet protection product (to make future stains easier to remove). So we did that. The work was done efficiently and professionally. The carpet looked great when they were done. Also, the service was very friendly, both on the phone and at our home.Super Value Home Services Response
