On the 19th May 2022 my wife bought our new house having just immigrated to Canada in February 2022. On the 14th June 2022 we contacted LDG Industrial and spoke the owner and operator of the company with a view of them carrying out the repainting of our blue roof. We knew that our roof was approximately 4 years old, it had no defects, the original paint was in still in excellent condition, our only issue with the roof was that it was bright blue, and we wanted it changed to a dark slate grey. The owner informed us that it was something that his company could do, assured us that all their work came with a 5-year warranty. And that the process is to chemically clean the roof, spot prime if needed and apply 1 to 2 coats of finish. Work was started on the 7th July 2022 and completed that same day, The next day I carried out an inspection of the work that they had done, to my utter disgust I found that they had not cleaned the either of the roofs, missed huge areas on the roofs, sprayed over dirt, bird poo, leaves, over spray onto our siding and soffits, used aluminum tap to cover screw holes, used aluminum tape to cover up a hole where a chimney had been in the shed, caused damage to our decking to our front door, took down guttering, blocked up guttering, sprayed our shed with grey paint, the paint is now bubbling up where it's not adhered to the surface and peels off with ease . Since we reported the poor workmanship, I have been constantly chasing up the owner for a resolution, my last email to him on the 8th November has gone unanswered, I spoke to his HR officer who informed me that he had advised her that he would email back with a solution, this has not happened. I asked for a refund, but the owner was adamant this would not be happening, I replied "then do the job properly" I have had no further contact with him. My next course of action was to contact BBB and seek legal advice. I have attached all the emails and the photos in the emailsCustomer response

Hi there
Thank you for the email, sadly I have asked *** ***** for copies of all the receipts and the formal contract as you will see in the emails that I have sent, these have not been forthcoming from *** GILES. In one of the first emails, he sent he clearly stated that their work would be guaranteed for 5 years. Getting any information out of *** ***** is a very difficult task and their lack of communication is extremely frustrating.
