Contracted JC Metal Roofing Inc to install metal roof in November 2021. Metal roof was installed the week of 29 November 2021. Seems there was an error on the quote and I had to pay an additional $2000 in cash. Payment made, roof completed. In January 2022 I had to contact them as snow and ice was falling off the roof. They sent someone to check on it. Was told snow / ice guards could be installed. These were never even offered in the original quote. 4 Februay 2022 company was again notified of increasing snow slide causing damage to rear deck and chimney. on 8 February an email was sent to Joey indicating that snow / ice guards needed to be installed on the upper and lower roofs. No response received from company. By 11 February falling snow / ice had torn the rear deck apart completely blocking the rear entrance of the house. The chimney was knocked over and the front deck railing damaged. On 12 February Joey was again notified that guards we required on upper and lower roofs. Still no response. 23 February Joey responded, sending me an invoice for the snow guards that had to be paid in advance. Paid on same day. The following week his crew installed snow guards on lowr roof only. Email exchange on 11 March where he refused to consider any compensation for damages. Blamed the weather. Snow guards still not installed on upper roof. Reminder sent on 4 March with no reply. To date the job has not been completed.Customer response

Good day
I a attachiing the paid invoice for the snow guards and the original invoice for the roof. As for warranty documents none have been provided by the company. Allegedly 40 years on materials 10 on labour.
