Halifax Paving came out after i received a 50% off flyer in the mail. The sales man pushed cash on me and told me that it would be cheaper. The contract he made me sign said " grade and pave" No dimensions, No depth and no sq footage. i put cash down as a deposit. Once i called a month later with no communication at all from them. they said" It will be what it will be and your not getting your deposit back. Please stay away from Halifax paving and ******* ******(owner) other companies. He is just looking to steal your deposit.

We had a contract with Halifax Paving and paid a $500 deposit. Wr were told they would start in a couple weeks. That was mid March, no sign of them. We left several phone messages and emails and they have never returned our calls. Do not give them your money.

Exceptional experience with the Halifax paving team today. It was a total of 4 days between having an in-person quote and the team arriving. The crew were so efficient despite the 38 degree hot weather. After receiving their flyer, and then reading the reviews after making first contact, we were so hesitant to move forward, but the sales rep was responsive, and answered all our questions. We also checked out a few other properties in the area that were recently done. A $500 deposit was required with the balance upon completion. The driveway turned out beautiful and we are so excited to snow blow this winter without spitting gravel everywhere.

Never Never get Halifax Paving to do your drive way , ,We have been calling since April (5 months) to tell them about a problem with our drive that they paved and they keep telling us they they will come and look at it AND they never show up This Company Should never be in business as they do terrible work and then refuse to come back and fix the problem .We are seniors citizens living on pensions and very disappointed with Halifax Paving

I had Halifax Paving come to my home in 2021 and redo my entire driveway; my experience was the exact same as the others here. The owner raved about his paving experience and the crews’ ability; he requested cash or cashiers cheque (which should have been red flags) however I trusted the owner as he seems sincere, as do most people who are ultimately not what they appear. After my driveway was done he said I would get another 10-15 years out of my driveway; I got 8 months. After only 8 months there were several spots in the driveway where the asphalt just gave way; I was shocked, how can this be? I contacted the owner about getting warranty work done; he seemed surprised that there were driveway issues so soon ( after 8 months) I explained there are parts of the asphalt that have eroded away, clearly it was not as thick as the business owner had advertised. He said he would be by the next day to repair it; he did not show. Halifax paving do something right for the people who trusted you to help maintain their home! You clearly have the skill, just do the work and develop positive relationships with the community where you live and work. Finally, please honour your word and come repair the work you were paid for!
