We contacted Chapmans in 2019 regarding plumbing work for a property in Tatamagouche. In 2020, the pandemic delayed the work and then he was busy, but promised to do the work during the winter of 2021. a provincial lock-down saw that post-poned and he finally completed the work in August 2021. The interior main floor was being upgraded to tile and new walls. We were charged $698.93 + tax for a shower door which was never delivered. We missed it at the time and were another year before returning to the cottage (after floor was installed). At this time, we contact via email and he did not reply. We contacted him again May 2023 now that the walls are up and the installation of the shower door, sinks and outdoor taps are required. Again, we has not replied. We gave him the benefit of thinking the door may have been in storage and he would install upon return to complete the job; however, it appears that he either returned it to the vendor, sold it to someone else, or broke it. I am not in the habit of making complaints, but for him to not respond to us at all after repeated attempts has left me very frustrated. As the shower was a special order, I am not even sure how to replace it. I would request a billing adjustment to invoice 2440 or simply just give us our door. You can clearly see by the picture that no door was ever installed in this unit.Customer response

Hello,The complaint has been resolved. The issue was that I did not have current contact information as a result of a change in his business structure, so my attempts to contact were not getting through. The item I was charged for was being held until we were ready for the remainder of the job.Cheers,******* **********
