      This company ** *** *** ********** ******** *** **** **************. They took my money and never completed the job fully or good for that matter. Then when I called to complain or discuss my concerns I was told to do it email I did that on April 17th, 2024 and to date have received no resolution not even an email or phone call acknowledging my concerns and that they will try to make things right. They have ignored me when I called I actually finally was able to make a voice contact with a person on May 9th named Leo and he told me that he would have to pass my concerns to a manager then hung up on me that was it extremely unprofessional and the worst customer service ever.

      ***** ***** * **** **** ** ******** absolutely would not recommend. I don’t even know where to start how about the fact that they were 3 hours late of the scheduled time and complained none stop about the lack of an elevator even after I told them when booking. Took them 3 hours to make a 1 hour drive when we left at the exact same time and when I called to complain the about the terrible service the mover got hostile and extremely **** with me offering the excuse of “traffic bro” when there was no traffic for me leaving at the same time. Don’t even get me started on all the hidden fees they tack on but don’t tell you about until there already there or the damage done to furniture without a care in the world. Even after complaining to a manager I was told there was nothing I could do about the blatant time theft of taking 3 hours for a 1 hour drive. 0/10 would not recommend. ********** *******

      We hired Get Movers to move from our three bedroom house. Upon booking we confirmed the size of the house, type of furniture, etc. and were told it would take 3 hours at two guys. To say that they moved slowly is an understatement. The 3 hours was up and they still hadn’t finished loading half off our stuff in the truck!! AND we had brought several boxes already to the house ourselves. As promised in their contract they wrapped the furniture, but quickly ran out of tape and had to use 3 rolls of our painters tape. They were not properly equipped or prepared. Not only did they move slowly, but they also drove so slowly that we questioned if they ever drove a truck before. After several attempts to back it in our driveway to park, we actually had to do it ourselves!!! Physically get in the moving truck that we are paying for and back it in our driveway!!! The truck was so dirty inside and didn’t have a ceiling so debris would fall all over our furniture. We offered dinner to the two movers who deserved to eat and have a break and when I mentioned this to the moving company not only did they not show the smallest appreciation but they told us that we had to pay for their break time. You don’t charge clients for employees to sit and eat a meal you provide them with! That is absurd. I also let them know that before we supplied them with 3 rolls of our tape they used clear masking tape on our furniture and they sealed drawers shut with it and of course it ripped off the finish and damaged our furniture. Get Movers definitely have caller ID because after I shared my feedback of the experience I never heard back and tried to follow-up on several occasions, left voicemails, and they never returned my calls and never picked up when I would call. We were quoted $620 +tax for 3 hours. It ended up taking 9 hours and cost us $1,650!!! It is unacceptable to quote someone an amount and be that far off! **** ** * ***** ** *** ***** **** ********

      We recently engaged the services of GetMovers for a move in Halifax, relying on the information provided on their website that claimed they were the #1 moving company in the area and that they were insured. Unfortunately, our experience with GetMovers has been far from satisfactory. Upon completion of the move, we discovered that several pieces of our furniture were damaged, some were even missing, and there were damages to the building itself. This situation is highly distressing and not in line with the standards we expected from a company that presents itself as the top service provider in Halifax. In an effort to address these issues, we promptly filed a claim with GetMovers as per their instructions and patiently awaited the 7-14 business days processing time. However, after 14 business days had passed without any response, we attempted to contact the company through multiple emails, all of which went unanswered. Subsequent attempts to reach them via phone resulted in stalling excuses and unfulfilled promises to get back to us. After an entire month of attempting to resolve our concerns, we finally received a response from GetMovers. To our surprise, they instructed us to submit our claim to the company they subcontracted in Halifax, despite our contractual agreement being directly with GetMovers. This has only added to the confusion and frustration we are experiencing. Furthermore, we have repeatedly requested information about the insurance company involved, as mentioned on their website, but this crucial detail has not been provided. This lack of transparency has raised concerns about the validity of their insurance claims and leaves us questioning whether they are adequately insured to cover damages incurred during the move. We are now forced to pursue legal action to get this resolved.

      ******** ***** Contracted local guys **** **** **** ***** ** ****** ** ******* One grown man and two teens, no professional moving equipment. Dinged up all my appliances, had no clue what they were doing AT ALL. Over an hour late. Website claims they have backup vehicles / plans but that's a farce. Shows people in matching outfits who work for the company doing the move but just contract out the work ** ******* ** ******** from the looks of it. Until the move was completed, any time I emailed they answered within minutes. Now they won't get back to me about my concerns. ** *** *** **** ******* ** ** * **** ***** I've got nothing but regrets :(

      We hired GetMovers Burlington for our recent move and it was the most horrendous experience. They never showed up! We had arranged a start time of 10am and at 1020, they called to say the truck was broken and they won't be coming until 130. We suggested that they find another truck (what kind of company only has one truck?). I received another call around 1130 asking if we could pay by cash. When I said no, he asked me "why not?". Wildly inappropriate and they hadn't even shown up yet! They called again at 1230 and said they weren't coming at all. We told them that was unacceptable and offered to rent a ***** ourselves and asked them to just send their team. No one tried to problem solve with us. We received another call saying they had gotten a team and they would be there at 330. At 330, they called and said now it would be 430. By this time, it's 430 on a Saturday and we decided to cut our loses because it clearly wasn't happening. We had to rent a ***** ourselves and call friends and family to come and assist. As if that wasn't enough, I then had to chase down the deposit I gave them to secure our moving date. I called them for 4 days straight and only once I said I was calling the police did they give me my money back. **** ******* ** * ***** ** *** **** *****

      PLEASE BE AWARE!!! I contacted them recently about my move from Calgary to Toronto. After talking to them I transferred $700 as a deposit. But unfortunately, my circumstances changed and I had to cancel my move. I have called and emailed asking for a refund. After dodging me the first couple of times I was told that there will be no refund. I contacted them again asking for at least a portion of my deposit back but received no answer. ( I canceled well in advance so they are charging me $700 for a service they didn't do) After seeing all their ****** reviews here I did some more research and found out that their ****** reviews seem to be fake. When you click on the reviewer's name you will be sent back to their homepage. Even if I move eventually I won't be using their services.

      I booked these movers for my move in Brantford, ON. They asked for a transferred deposit to book the move which I sent as requested, they text me telling me they never received the deposit. I had to screenshot my payment to prove proof of deposit. That should have been my first warning. The day before move they called to confirm what furniture would be moved and some information. They arrived at the destination and the first thing they said was they would have to charge more for stairs, which they were made aware of before ever confirming price and move. They took over a half hour for lunch and a fifteen minute break, which they charged me for. This is the least of my issues. When the move was complete, they told me the balance owing. The amount was transferred EXACTLY as the deposit was. I also gave them a 100 dollar cash tip. They called their boss who said no money had been received. THEY WOULD NOT LEAVE MY HOME. I informed them the money has been sent, what else can I possibly do for you. The demanded I show a screenshot of the deposit. WHICH I DID! It showed the date, amount, and said IN PROGRESS. They STILL would NOT LEAVE. I finally said you will have to wait outside. TWO HOURS LATER they kept knocking on my door saying no money has been sent. * **** ********** *** **** ***** ******. I finally told them I do not know what to do so I am calling the police. When I went in to call, they drove off, leaving their cups from their wonderful paid for fast food lunch in my garden. I felt shaken up and ill. I have never ever been treated like this in my life. I have video of them on speaker with what they claim is the owner of the business, yelling in a different language about the money not being there. The next day no call was received in regards to the money being received, which it had been the whole time. I called to tell them how awful the experience was, to which she replied a manager would call me back. Nothing. How can a business run like this????

      To start out, the movers were over two hours late to the scheduled move. Their truck was way too small to fit the items described ahead of time. When the movers did arrive, they handled all items with little care and did not wrap or provide protective equipment for any items. Larger items were dragged across the floor with no care. Once some items were stored in the truck, the movers threatened not to unload the items unless an additional payment of $500 was sent to them. At this point it was past 9:00pm and we felt unsafe ****************************************** given that the movers had only performed one hour of work up to this point. *************************************************************** ***** Overall experience was terrible, we feel that the business extorted us for payment once they had our items, we felt unsafe dealing with the movers and we feel we did not receive the service advertised by the business.
