A deposit was paid to the kennel a year ago to purchase a puppy when one became available, and we found one that suited us. We did not find one that was suitable at that time *** ** *** ******* ***** ***** The breeder was not forthcoming with the next litter, telling us that we could not change our minds because there were people ahead of us. We had to choose a puppy after they were just born. We declined when we could not get the one we wanted. The breeder’s ******** page then disappeared and the breeder made no contact with us letting us know of any new litters. My daughter developed a more severe allergy to pet hair and we now cannot have a dog. The breeder had told us that if, after a year, we did not find a puppy suitable to us we could have the $500 deposit refunded to us. We have requested the deposit back and she is now “dragging her heals” because she doesn’t believe us.
