      Used dirty Face mask was left behind after work was done a large flood was left damaging priceless old victorian era doors, my own sponges/cloths were used as rags and left soaking wet Cardboard boxes were wet leaving mildew and mold Was forced to spend more time/money/electricity to fix the mess left. I spent morw time cleaning than it took for him to install, made phone call to meet a friend for lunch and took off shorty afterwards Was told they were sorry but wouldn't do anything about it and it was my fault for not checking the service mans work and contacting them right away to fix the issue. Have made no teal effort to remedy the situation Cement floor was stained dirty insulation/walls left

      Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/02/01) */ This was an unfortunate situation for which we took complete responsibility and did everything that we were asked to do to mitigate the problem. A drain line was not properly secured and came loose causing water on the floor. We tried as best we could to clean it up and thought we had gotten it. This obviously was not the case. At the time and in the effort to clean, a secondary mask that had inadvertently fallen out of the pocket of the technician was unnoticed and unfortunately left behind. When we were contacted, we immediately offered to come and make everything right. We were told by the home owner that he spent 2 hours cleaning and that it was all cleaned up. He then said he had to buy a dehumidifier to complete the dry up. We immediately dropped off a dehumidifier and fan and again asked if there was anything else we could do to help make this right. The answer was no. Then we received an email demanding financial compensation. It became clear that this was what this was really about so we complied and sent the agreed amount. At no time was the blame put on the home owner as stated and we did everything that he asked. Again, this was an unfortunate mistake that we tried to make right. This was most certainly not done on purpose and we reacted as quickly as possible and complied with everything that was requested.
