They hide behind their 48 hr Policy I'm from Saskatoon my sales Person was Nitin V. He had no problem taking my $7000.00 for mÿ **** Appliance order!!! It just so happens that out of 4 Appliances the Microwave was damaged, not from shipping but sent out broken from manufacturer and I had missed it because I never checked it completely only the front for marked or scratches. ***** ****** But did see it 2 days before installer was to come. I called Nitin V. no answer or return call. So I call **** International they informed me after several calls and emails back and forth that it's Warranty Issues not a replacement through them. I was advised that according to ****'s Policy only my sales store can have it replaced up to 30 days. When I phone again after all this and spoke to Canadian Appliance Source they completely hid behind the 48hr "You are On Your Own" Policy So I am left dealing with an American Company trying to get a Damaged Microwave Fixed that I paid New for. I* *** ****** ** **** **** ****** ***** ***** ****** ********** **** Canadian Appliance Sources their Policies agreement ****** does not have *** the Consumers best interest in mind. ** *** ** **** *****

      Thank you for reaching out to us to share your concerns.We regret to learn that your Thor Microwave Speed Oven arrived with some defects.

      We can see that the unit was delivered on October 24th and the damage was reported on November 12th of 2024.

      As our vendors have different policies for any damage found after delivery, we ask that you contact us within 48 hours as per our return/exchange policy to report any damage.

      Thor Kitchen requires the packaging/box to remain in pristine condition in order to qualify for a replacement. As per your return form, the packaging is no longer available. Please contact our After-Sales Team at **********@*****.ca with photos of all 4-sides of the box for further evaluation.

      This was by far the most frustrating experience. We arranged our day to expect the delivery. Was called by the driver who had no service. Get a notification saying there is now a 50 delivery fee to reschedule the delivery. Naturally I call our salesman Derek who is useless and does not help at all, other than transfer me (because not his department). I voice my concerns and the customer care representative tells me they were at your house they waited 15 minutes we have pictures. I asked for the pictures. 100% not my house! Asked them if they could contact the 3rd party right away to see if we could still have delivery today, * **** **** *** * ******* ** ************ *** washing machine broke unexpectedly so we have alot of laundry at this point. He says sure I will do that for you madam. Call again around 4pm since I heard nothing. no updates all day, the next customer care representative gave me the same "they waited 15 minutes, well how do you know it wasn't your house, are sure you were home" 1. I know what my house looks like, 2. yes someone was home. Did anyone contact the 3rd party delivery company for me, heck no! Did anyone reply to my email the following day, heck no! I got the $50 delivery fee waived but why was this such a run around. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. ** *** **** ******

      At the time of delivery, the delivery team will wait for 15 minutes in case a customer does not respond before moving on to the next stop in order to complete the remaining deliveries in a timely manner.

      We can see that the second delivery fee was eventually waived and the delivery was completed on November 15th of 2024.

      Worst experience I've ever had with The Canadian Appliance Source. Purchased a range ***** .We were told that installation was included. When the delivery guys came, they just dropped off the appliances and notice the range doesn’t fit .They leave it and left. I called in right away to report the issue. But they wash their hands off you. If you open the packaging you void your warranty. **** *** **** **** ******** **** *** ******** ******* ********* The delivery guys took off all the packaging without my consent in the truck, I didn’t even see the box, so who knows if there even was one. When I called, they refused an exchange or refund. I told them that I wasn't the one to remove it, the delivery guys did. Finally they said the restocking fee is 38%.From start and on site was 25%. After 2 days they sent an email saying 38% FOR A NEW, WITH ALL Packaging still intact and not touched INSIDE .We sent them all of the pictures. This is their policy: As per our Return Policy CAS would take back appliances as long the request is reported within 7 days and as they are in their original packaging, at no penalty. If an appliance is open and the request is submitted after 7 days, a 25% restocking is applicable.. ** **** ******* **** *** *** **** *** ******** ********* *********

      We bought an ** Washtower on October 8 from Canadian Appliance Source and installation was included in purchase price. It was delivered on date promised but installers were unable to install because they had no tape to connect Washtower to duct. On a phone call to Customer Care, we were told the duct had to be changed, but were unable to say what change had to be made. On a subsequent phone call we were told there would be a charge of $229.95 and order was cancelled. Our salesman said his hands were tied, there would be no discount for installation and no change in date of warranty, which was dated date of delivery. We then arranged installation on our own. Installer had no problem connecting Washtower to existing duct, and even had tape to make the connection! Not Happy!

      We had ordered $12,000.00 worth appliances from Canadian Appliance Source store at Matheson Ave, Mississauga, ON. We have paid the full payment on May 26, 2024. I have yet to receive my ******* ******* wall oven. At the time of the purchase, we were never advised of delay in delivery from the manufacturer. It has been now 6 months of delay. I feel CAS failed to meet customer experience and took advantage of money already charged to me. I feel CAS misused my payment in advance and failed to deliver my purchase is due time. Whenever CAS is contacted there is no way to escalate further than waiting for delivery from the manufacturer. If CAS is reading my frustration, please contact. *** *** ******* ***

I thought I could just exchange it for an item that works, but it has been an absolute nightmare to deal with CAS and the manufacturer. CAS won't really communicate beyond absolving themselves of the issue since, as they repeatedly state if you try to converse with them, it is their policy to leave it to the manufacturer's warranty. I have NEVER experienced a purchase so horrible in my life, wherein if you turn the product on and it doesn't work you cannot return or exchange it. CAS will just keep repeating the same previous line about the manufacturer ***** *** **** **** ******** ** ******* *** **** **** ****** ***. They even said, Yes, if you purchase from ****** or **** ***** *** ******** **** ** ** ************ you can return items because they have different policies. **** ****** ****** **** ** ******* *** ******* ** ****** ***** ***** ***** **** **** **** to hear it is the company's policy not to return your money if you get a defective item? THE SERVICE IS BEYOND POOR. ** ** *********. The rep actually told me that he has customers *** to him all the time so he can't really know if what I am saying about the item is true. If you buy from this company and the appliance doesn't work, it appears to me they will just chalk you up as one of "***** customers"! In this instance a service tech, sent by the manufacturer, came out, did about nothing and said the item is working as designed. He said they don't make them like they used to and also said I wasn't using it like I was supposed to. He said I need to run it on the sanitary cycle only. Who pays for a top of the line dishwasher to only work on one cycle? It's all been very distressing and there is NO recourse and a great loss of money for me ***

      We can see that the dishwasher was delivered on the 08th of August. Please understand that CAS does not manufacture any of the appliances we sell and that all functional issues would be the responsibility of the manufacturer as they hold the warranty.

      As per the technical report submitted by the certified ** technician, the unit is working as per designed.

      However we can see that our After-Sales Team have contacted the manufacturer once again to request a second opinion on the dishwasher by a certified technician on your behalf.

      Just like I first reported - passing the buck. Most companies that sell appliances are not the manufacturer, but will take the appliance back or exchange for a different brand or model if it doesn't work or the customer isn't happy with it. Your hands are not tied at CAS except that YOU created this policy of not taking items back. ****** ***** *** **** ****** *** ***** **** ****. You created a policy in your favour, but that ***** customers so you don't have to deal with problems. I now have a new fridge, additional freezer and possible stove to buy and though I had been a return customer, I will NEVER purchase from CAS ***** ** * **** **** ********** ****** *** **** ** ********.       Canadian Appliance Source South Edmonton ** ******* ** ***** ***** ******* ***** We purchased a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge. During the negotiating of pricing, we explained that the fridge has to open from right to left. We were told that they would take away the old dishwasher, move our old fridge to the basement and put our old washing machine into our garage. The sales person, Senior Account Executive, Nick B. never told us there would be an extra charge for the door to open the way we had requested. We were also told they would install the washer. Our bad as we assumed he meant the dishwasher and not the clothes washing machine. Upon delivery, the crew was quick and efficient and I was happy with our choice of appliances. The problem was the fridge door opened on the opposite side of what we had specified. They installed the washing machine which is just a matter of putting water hoses on. When we questioned about them installing the dishwasher, the delivery crew said, we don't do that, you have to pay for a third party for installation. We called customer service and the lady I spoke with was **** and kept saying, not our problem, the work order did not specify which way the door should open. We then called Nick and left a voicemail asking that he call my cell number. Instead he responded in an email saying that there is a charge to reverse the fridge door and there was a charge for the dishwasher installation and disposal. This was NEVER once told to us. ** ******* would have walked out on the sale if Nick had said there was an extra charge to have the fridge door installed the way we had requested. All Nick said was, "No Problem". So yes, once they have your money and the sale is complete customer service *****! I would recommend to get EVERYTHING in writing, even the smallest detail. I would also recommend recording your conversation with the sales person to protect yourself. What is discussed in store is not what is promised in the end.

      CAS offers installation only for washers and electric dryers. We do not install dishwashers. When receiving your dishwasher, the delivery team will place the dishwasher in the room of choice in the box.

      As per our records, your sales representative provided you with the price to have the door reversed which is $40.00  + tax and for the dishwasher $240.44. We apologize for any miscommunication.

      We understood afterwards that there may have been a miscommunication regarding the dishwasher vs washing machine hook up as the sales person only used the words "washer" and we assumed he meant the dishwasher as the washing machine is not difficult to hook up. While in store, not once we're we told there was a fee for reversing a fridge door handle. We told him 3 times the door had to open from right to left. His response was "no problem". He never once said there would be a charge, as my husband would have cancelled the sale if he was told there was a charge, just on principle alone. It wasn't until we complained that he sent an email saying there was a charge to have the door as we requested. The customer service we received was not up to par and your sales person ****. We will not be buying from Canadian Appliance again because of the poor customer service we received.

      ********* *********** *** ****** ********* **** ******* ********** I bought all my appliances from the ********* brand three years ago. They were supposed to be delivered in two weeks. The day after my purchase, I changed my mind and decided to cancel my order. I emailed my salesperson, Marc P. at the Merivale location. He informed me that I would have to pay a 25% cancellation fee. I trusted him. After two weeks, everything was delivered except for my fridge. It took over six months for my fridge to arrive. During that time, I inquired about a late delivery, and customer service offered me the option to cancel my order. I told them I could not cancel because I didn't want to pay the 20% cancellation fee based on the policy. An agent then told me that customers can cancel their order after two months of delivery if the appliance is still in the box. * *** ******* ** **** *** **** **** *** **** ********* **** ** *** *** ****** **. I called customer service again, but they did not seem to care. Two months ago, I noticed that my fridge door had rusted in several areas.       As per our Return Policy in 2022, CAS would take back appliances as long the request is reported within 7 days and as they are in their original packaging, at no penalty.

      If an appliance is open and the request is submitted after 7 days, a 25% restocking is applicable.

      Note that our Return Policy has changed effective October 2024.

      All ********* appliances we sell come with a one year manufacturer's warranty including parts and labor. The warranty has ended in February 2023.

      We recommend contacting the manufacturer directly to initiate a service request. (service charges will apply)

      Eager to sell stove and request 50%down payment with full payment well in advance of delivery.10 months after full payment stove that had to be ordered from ******** has constantly had ETA moved back monthly.Finally,delivery scheduled for October16 was cancelled an hour before delivery.Yes,stove was delayed from order date of January2,2024.until Oct.16,2024..No 10 month timeline was ever mentioned to me.This company is ********** to sell but unreliable to deliver the appliance.

Then our new washing machine broke after just a handful of washes and we were unable to return it because we were two days past the return date. They were not interested in helping us or finding any sort of solution nor did they accept any role in the fiasco. They washed their hands of the situation.
