We called the company on Sunday July 28 as our dishwasher was showing an error 15 and the electronics on the door were not functioning. We had attempted to repair the door prior to calling the company but were unable to do so ourselves. A repair person came very promptly and determined the motherboard needed to be replaced. He ordered the part. He returned on Wednesday and found another part for the panelling was needed also. He returned on Thursday and installed the piece for the panel. When installing the new motherboard, he damaged it. He then re-installed our original motherboard which worked perfectly. We were charged $671 for this repair. We attempted to negotiate directly with the repair specialist. We do not feel that we should be responsible to pay for the damaged motherboard, especially given that it was misdiagnosed in the first place and our dishwasher is now functioning with our original motherboard. The repair person did not agree. We paid the full amount of the repair and decided to take the issue up with management. We feel it is not our responsibility to cover the cost of the part that was unnecessarily purchased and subsequently damaged. I spoke with someone from customer ********************** by phone about this on Friday August 2nd. The repair expert then texted me later in the day. We found it unprofessional that the company asked the service repair person to reach out to us again. We were attempting to contact management since we werent able to resolve it with him. I have twice more spoken with members of their company, on August 6 and on August 12, and have not received an adequate response. I have emailed management twice, on August 12 and August 23 and received no response whatsoever. We are happy to pay for the service persons time and the part to fix the panel. We would like to be compensated for the motherboard which was misdiagnosed and subsequently damaged by the repairman.
