Aug 25, 2022 ***** ****** $1600 paid for new jack's for RV The dispute started when the owner (didn't get his name) started yelling at my mom while hooking up the RV. (He came out to help as my mother recently had hip replacement surgery and I had a bad ankle sprain.) Once he started yelling I stopped rolling up the electrical cord to see what the issues was. Then I simply made a suggestion to him. He got very defensive and starting telling me I didn't know what I was doing and that he's drove truck for years (secretly I currently drive a commercial vehicle). I went inside to file a complaint to the office lady (which turns out to be his daughter) she took offense when I told her the situation and so I just said I was coming back into the office to get the owner/"him" to come back out and show us what was done to the trailer. He refused and told me to leave the store that he wasn't going to deal with us and wasn't going to show us the work we paid for. Walking back to the truck and trailer which was still out back behind the shop; I slipped into a cinder block that was all eroded out and I scrapped all the skin off the back of my heel and was bleeding allover the shoes. I returned to the office And said I wanted to file a safety complaint. Safety complaint. I showed them my injury and told them about the the safety concern. It took them forever to finally come out with a first aid kit so I could clean my wound however, they removed me from the store and put a chair outside. They closed up shop tighter than closed, then called an OPP officer. So I only had a dirty shop rag from wiping off the electrical cord to keep the bleeding under control. When the cop arrived he went straight into the office. Then he addressed me and my injury. The the officer also didn't have a first aid kit so we we agreed it was best to go home clean the wound and seek medical attention for which I did. I grabbed pictures before they closed everything up to prove my concerns.
