Windows were purchased March 2019 and installed June 2019 Issue: nick in the lower sash of the ensuite window Darren R***** of Connor Windows Door and Sunrooms contacted July 5 2019 notifying him of the damage to the ensuite window. He returned to look at the damage on July 10 2019 On site on July 10 2019 presented options: - A warranty claim OR - Sanding (which I know would not resolve the matter) OR - $50.00 cash credit. As these were brand new windows and the window was a 524.20 plus HST in 2019 we opted for the warranty claim. I had to continuously follow up with Darren to inquire about the claim. He eventually confirmed that the claim was unsuccessful, though he provided no documentation that he made the claim and that they declined the claim. On March 19 2021 via email, he confirmed that he had a spare window sash (the part to be replaced) and could do it. He asked if we would mind if he could do the repair when he was “next in the area”. We lived approximately 25 minutes south of his office. I agreed to this option on March 19 2021. We heard nothing from Darren until my husband followed up by email in July 2021. He confirmed still had not been out to our area. He did confirm that he was “committed to doing this for you but can not drop everything.” I understood that but we were now 2 years from when we had made our initial complaint. I once again followed up in October 2021. Again, he still had not made it out our way Another follow up on December 20 2021 in which I received a bounce back that his business was closed for the holiday season I then had to follow up on January 17 2022 as my December email went unanswered. I stressed that it has been 2 years and asked that we book something. I noted that we felt that or only option at this point was to contact the Better Business Bureau He reiterated the options as noted above and suggested we were welcome to contact the BBB We have been more than accommodating and patience since July 2019
