Hello, I purchased 2 batteries from batteryclerk May 8th 2022. I received the batteries May 15 2022. Recently I discovered 1 of the batteries is defective. It has a dead cell and wont charge over 6volts. I tried contacting batteryclerk to warranty the battery may 11th during business hours. They got back to me May 12th saying my 1 year warranty was expired. My issue is that I only became in possession of the batteries as of may 15th of 2022. They never stated the the warranty begins while they still have the battery. Or else that only makes it a 51 week warranty. Not a year warranty as stated. All i was looking for was a replacement battery for this one. I have dated emails to/from. Thanks

I placed an online order on Sat, May 7, 2022 @ 10:54 PM for a net price $30.59 (plus tax and shipping) My order was confirmed and full payment was made from my credit card. On Monday, May 9th at 6:13PM I received an email advising me that my order had been cancelled. I emailed asking why they had cancelled my order and was advised that they had a pricing error on their website. I responded saying I was confused about why their error was my problem. They offered a 20% discount but their website now showed the new cost of my item to be $83.69 (Minus 20% plus tax and shipping). In my opinion, this error was not my fault and my transaction with them was completed in good faith. I paid for my item and expected it to be shipped. They exploited the fact that they had the ability to cancel my order to avoid incurring the cost of their error. Instead, the cost of their error was passed on my me as the consumer. That's not right. If they had a brick and mortar store front I would have been home with my item. Once the sale is complete, that's a binding agreement and I don't believe I should have to absorb the price difference of their mistake. ***************************************************************************************************************
