      Do not recommend. Company is money not people focussed. They promise follow up and communication and none are delivered. The owner is ********** about the quality of the service he is providing as he doesn’t monitor his employees. He says no minimum hours but when I asked to reduce the hours and brought up concerns he dropped us as clients with zero notice regardless that he has already committed to medical appointments, ******** ****** management to help with pain. Zero customer service skills. **** ******* ** ** ********

      At Good Comfort, we go to the ends of the earth to provide exceptional care for our clients, now nearing 80+ families across Southern Ontario. However, when a client cannot be satisfied no matter what we do, harasses ownership, and questions our employees' integrity, we have no choice but to part ways.

      *****, it's unfortunate that we had to let you go as a client, and it's disappointing that you cannot understand that no company, no matter how hard they try, will ever be able to meet your unreasonable demands. When you came to us, you mentioned that you had tried several care companies and were not satisfied with any of them.

      We made extraordinary efforts to accommodate your needs, including specifically hiring a Spanish-speaking PSW, providing regular updates on your uncle’s well-being, driving and accompanying him to his various appointments, and ensuring he received the best care possible. Despite all this, you could not see the dedication and care we provided and chose to undermine the integrity of our team of nearly 100 dedicated, passionate, and professional Care Partners. 

      We wish you and your uncle all the best in finding the care you need.

      I have expressed while trying to address this issue. I think the company provides good companionship services. However, there is a lack of communication and monitoring happening. He keeps saying 80+ clients who is monitoring them? no one again this is the problem. I actually care what is happening with my relative this is why I reached out for follow-up. The expectations were set by the owner when I reached out for services. He stated PSWs leave notes after every visit. Not true. Unrealistic? Asking for a record of the visit? I don’t think so. Above and beyond? He never even even picked up the phone to understand the issue. Instead decided to not address the concern, that 1 week visit was not worth it and cut me off cold turkey. Leaving me to figure out medical appointments and arrangements last minute for a patient with terminal cancer. *** **** ************* Customer service and making sure your employees are doing what you are promising is part of running the business. btw this is not a regular employee the owner just sublet someone external. Just because someone speaks Spanish doesn't mean they are the right fit. This person was at my uncle's after they had suspended the service yes I was concerned. I appreciate the change in attitude though, it's a nice change from ************ and ********. Threatening people to pursue them legally for leaving reviews is not correct. Accusing me of harassment when I am concerned for my uncle's safety as the employee is there and ignoring me, is not correct. Expressing my experience of the service is my right as a consumer. I also hope you the best and hope this situation helps you realize the areas of improvement in your business.
