I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. The paint is peeling. I went to ********* Hyundai and they told me I had to go back where I purchased vehicle. Didnt even look at the car!!I I have attached a Protection Plan which I purchased at time of purchase for ********. It states as per pdf files this warranty is good for 10 years. Dealership said not covered but theres no other way of interpreting this. Hyundai Woodstock actually admitted there was a problem with this paint. Im requesting an investigation and if no results Im going to social media. Thank you. And I purchased a protection plan.Business response

When the customer first came in with the paint issue she did not indicate she a had an extended warranty purchasaed from **. She has since brought the car in for review with our Service Manager who has confirmed coverage, thus repairs are forthcoming.

We purchased a vehicle from Woodstock Hyundai's **** ***** (Finance/Sales Mgr). During the multiple meetings with **** he advised that we needed to hold the loan for a minimum of 6 months before paying it off. This was not accurate and is not documented anywhere in the financing document. This is a predatory aggressive sales practice attempting to force purchasers to hold their loans with outside companies longer than they need to in order to ensure that he receives more income from the financing. It is fraudulent to tell consumers that they must abide by terms that are not outlined in the terms and conditions of the actual loan for the sales manager's personal financial gain. This is an aggressive, dishonest and fraudulent tactic that preys on customers not independently verifying that this information is in the financing terms and conditions. When I emailed **** to follow up on this as I could not find this wording in our document, he essentially told me that he was too busy to check the paperwork and to call the lender myself if I wished to verify. **** *** ************** *** **** ********* ***** ** ************* ********* ** ******* ** ** ***** ** ******** *** ********* ***** I did hear from the Finance Manager directly after escalating my email to both the general manager and him. He was apologetic *** * ** *** **** **** **** ** ********** ************ *** **** ********** ********r. We are definitely not the only people who have been misled by **** to believe this but perhaps only the first to have reviewed our own documents thoroughly to recognize this.
