We had a kitchen fire at *** **** ** Mortlach, Saskatchewan Canada. Winmar was hired to do the clean up and rebuild. They were to replace our custom build solid oak cabinets and tile countertops with the same. They have replaced them with MDF cabinets without our permission and are refusing to address the issue claiming that is what we approved. (We did not) also the cabinets were to match the layout of the flooring or new flooring was to be provided. The cabinets were made to narrow resulting in either us having to accepted a 3 inch strip of patched flooring, pulling the kick plate forward to the very edge of the cabinet or replacing the flooring ourselves. They are refusing to address this issue. Stating we approved the cabinets. All custom features point out in the custom cabinets were not included in the new cabinets and they are refusing to address this issue. We are being forced to investigate a small claims court action will local legal services.Customer response
