BBB plays an important role in helping local donors find a trustworthy place for their donations, but also in assisting charities to be transparent and operate with best practices. 

Our charity review program, based on the Wise Giving Alliance’s 20 Standards for Charity Accountability, helps local nonprofits demonstrate their commitment to donors and those they serve. Nonprofits that meet all 20 Standards are recognized as BBB Accredited Charities. The best part is the review and BBB Accreditation are completely free!
