Business is under new ownership by a previous employee. Our family purchased a very expensive granite head stone that has cracked in various places 9 years in. Guarantee in contract it to be of lasting quality and superior workmanship. Very poor response and follow up. Owner just ignores the problem hoping for it to go away. No resolution or communication. Says how can you expect it has a life time guarantee ? Contract makes NO mention of time. Seems that they guarantee that once you have paid for it its yours.Business response

7-7-2023 *****************************, owner of company called to provide his position. He says he cannot guarantee a stone cracking 9 years after the purchase / setting date. He does offer lifetime warranty of his personal work such as, lettering, setting the stone. No offer to assist.

I am rejecting this response because:If you read the guarantee by you it has NO time frame listed , no mention of exactly what you are or are not guaranteeing. It states as you can see in the pictures that you guarantee the memorials to be of lasting quality and superior workmanship. Where in that guarantee does it say not after a certain amount of time or just the engraving? There are other like memorials of the same exact material without cracking .. You should stand behind what was guaranteed. If you feel that you intended different then amend your future guarantees and be specific. The meaning of the statements in the contract are very vague and leaves it up to whatever interpretation you decide on that day. In our conversation you tried to put on the como y you bought from and that since you dont buy many memorials from them anymore you doubted they would do anything. We didnt buy it from them. Bought from you be honest and stand behind what is stated in contract. Or refund price paid for memorial and we can purchase another elsewhere.
