On March 28, 2022 I purchased a router from Middle of Nowhere Internet and agreed to pay a monthly cost. I paid $514.00 for the router and was told that if I was not satisfied with the service, I could return the router for a refund. The service was somewhat acceptable for several weeks but stopped working altogether during the week of July 11, 2022. I called the phone number for the company but it is no longer in service. I called the number for the company's salesman from whom I purchased the equipment. He said he longer works for the company; he said the company owner (*****) is having problems. The salesman said he was busy right then but he had my number on caller ID and will call me back. So far he has not. I request to return the router and receive a refund of $514.00 on my credit card.Initial Complaint

I ordered equipment and service from Middle Of Nowhere Internet on March 18th. I received my equipment the following week and followed the instructions on the set up. The signal was too poor in my area and the internet speed was too low. According the the contract and website, if the service didn't work, I could return my equipment for the refund of the router and cancel my service. The 1st month's service was non-refundable. I contacted ***** w/ MoN Internet and set up my return. He provided me with return instructions and I shipped the router to ***** via *** (tracking # 1ZY0F0950389542387). The package was received on April 12th. It is now May 12th and still have not received my equipment refund. I have emailed ***** since then multiple times with no response. I did receive 1 auto-email response stating that he was going through personal issues and employees left and accounts had been locked out. I believe this is a scam and is happening to multiple people. He signs all of his emails with a Bible verse and I suspect that is only to make everyone think he is a good ********* so that he can take advantage of people.Initial Complaint

I have been using his internet service since August. In April my internet stopped working. He sent me a new sim card for router. On April 12th, I paid $99 for my monthly service and the next day the internet service went out again. He has sent an automated message saying that he is going through a divorce and that all of his internet services has been disconnected. Since then I have heard nothing from him. He does not respond to any call, text or email. I want my $99 back. I only received one day of service and am having to pay for another internet service now.
