I purchased an extended warranty on a new truck. I traded the truck in January 2024. I went to Bentley Chevrolet on February 8, 2024 to inquire about a refund on the unused portion of the extended warranty. The finance manager cancelled the contract, and said I would get a $2,066 refund. I checked with the extended warranty company on 2/23 and they verified that it was cancelled. I contacted Bentley Chevrolet and was told it would take " up to 60 days" to get my refund. I have called about my refund and the finance **** will not answer my calls. I have left messages, both voicemail and with the receptionist and they will not call. It is past the 60 days and I have received no refund nor explanation for the delay.Customer response

I purchased a used car from Bentley Chevrolet in March of 2023. A week later I noticed a weird sound coming from the steering wheel. I took it to service and they said it was a non issue, just a rubbing sound. I did my own research and found out it was a specific bearing in the steering wheel that had worn out. Once the noise increased so greatly in November i returned for repair. I asked the dealership if my rental would be covered, they said yes. I called the warranty department and they also said it would be covered. So due to parts shortages the dealership had my car for 37 days to fix two parts costing 160 dollars. My rental cost **** dollars and the warranty reimbursed only 200 dollars. I called the dealership multiple times now and it has apparently been brought up the chain. I was told daily the parts should be here any day now. I havent received any answers and now just getting the run around. All in all I would have never gotten the repair if I knew it would take ******************* **** dollars plus 200 my deductible. I feel they have wronged me greatly and are doing nothing to help. Response from the owner 20 minutes ago Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience. After speaking with our service advisor ******** she stated that she highlighted and explained that the extended warranty company would only cover 2 days rental. The parts were backordered which would delay the repair. She also informed you that the car was completely drivable and that the noise did not cause any safety or drivability concerns. We apologize for any additional cost associated with this repair, however you were informed that these were the terms of the warranty contract you purchased. I was never once highlighted that the warranty only covered two days and I was never once told the car was safe to drive and I could come pick it up at any time. Im looking for help work reimbursement from my rental.Business response

*************** was told upfront how many days his warranty would cover on his rental car. He was also told he could continue to drive his current vehicle ********************* on the parts to arrive to complete the repair. There were no saftey issues with his vehicle that would have made it unsafe for him to drive it. Parts being on back order is completely out of our control. *************** left our dealership and went and got a rental car to drive while waiting on his vehicle to be repaired. The $2800 he was charged for the rental is also our of our control.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: Either ***** is lying or management is lying for her. I was never told my car was safe to drive and that I had the option to take the car until parts were in. I was never explained that my contract only covered 2 days rental. I asked if it would be covered and was looked into my eyes and was told yes. Again lets use some common sense here, would you pay for a rental for ***************************************************************************************** my rental would not be covered for the extra 35 days you guys had my car. You led me wrong, and now your establishment is trying to lie to cover it up.

Went to the dealership for problem with ignition switch. I had a new battery 3weeks old, but technician claimed that was the problem. I would have gone back to ******* if I thought the battery was faulty. But trusted the technician that it was the problem. Bentley replaced the *********** returned the other one to *******, they tested it and said it was fine, and didnt want to give a refund. The very next day same problem occurred. Now I have a newer battery that I didnt need along with a $86.00 labor fee. The problem was not fixed, I expect refund of the labor cost. Unethical behavior at the very least.Business response

This customer came in on December 22nd for an issue with the vehicle not starting until after a few tries. The technician first tested the battery and it tested bad replace. After replacing the battery no more issues were present. The customer has not contacted us directly concerning this situation. Attached is a full copy of the repair ticket including the battery test slip showing the "replace battery" test result. The battery slip includes the *** number and date of test for verification purposes.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the battery was not bad, I called the company the next day but the service department wasnt open, I left name and number for response but was never contacted. This happened right before Christmas, I had to miss a day of work and the problem was not fixed.

I have reviewed our call log from the weekend of Christmas and have not been able to locate a missed call or message from ******************. Also, see previous attachment for the attached copy of the battery test. When testing a battery we use a midtronics GR-8 battery load tester to check the battery. We trust the results of the equipment when testing amps and life of a battery. I can not speak for the results ****************** received from the other shop that stated the battery was good, nor have I seen an attachment of that battery test being used to dispute our results. The only thing I can speak for is that we received a car that would not start on first few starts, tested the battery, it tested replace battery, we replaced it, and started the vehicle multiple times without incident. I dont dispute that there may have been further problems that were not present or duplicated prior to the customer picking up the vehicle. However, the claim of a bad battery is verified by the included test results included in my original response.
