I bought a refrigerator from ****** the owner that supposedly had warrant for two months and after less then a week stop working.i informed him and he kept saying he was going to fix and never had time but I ran into him at a discount store shopping on a Friday morning.and was told he was going to return my money and hasn't.i had several meetings that he said he would be at my house to fix and and never showed upInitial Complaint

Hired company to repair ice maker in the fridge. He showed up., claimed to have installed new ice maker and it never worked. He then stated he ordered a new ice maker.,that the one he installed must have been a " bad one" . 6 weeks of begging with text and phone calls., always states he is coming to refund the cost of ice maker the next day. Never shows up. when i ask for tracking details of the NEW ice maker, he did not have that. very evasive. at one time he said he was going to buy a part in ********** ( if he had ordered why was he buying another one ) i ask numerous times does he not need the non working ice maker in order to be refunded as in a time frame- he said that was no problem. He took 200.00 from us and we have no ice maker nor the funds to have repaired. I have phone records to prove the number of times we contacted him. Even have a witness that contacted him asking to make it right. We want the cost of ice maker back. There was nothing installed. We have had a technician check it out and it was same ice maker that came with fridge. we want our hard earned money back . Please do not do this to people . Not professional at all. I should have known this when i called his business phone and he text back " text me" voicemail full of course. please refund , DO THE RIGHT THING.Business response

He husband Bubba was there and witnessed step by step me installing the new icemaker. Why he did not communicate this I have no clue. Maybe he did and she chose to tell a untruth. Secondly I did return to check on the icemaker and did order a replacement. The shipping industry and the availability of parts have been well documented throughout the past few months. The part did not come in a normally timely manner. I talked with Mrs. ****** and Bubba numerous times and told them I was going to refund their money if the part was delayed any longer. I refunded her 200.00 through Venmo this past Saturday. Thirdly texting is a way of doing business for most people. She also texted me on numerous occasions. Not really understanding what the problem is with that when you are constantly dealing with other customers and phone calls.
