      In November of 2021 this company started sending the claims to the wrong address which was causing the claims to be rejected with my insurance. Even though I had out of network coverage I was paying the entire bill because someone there was sending the claims to the wrong address. I spent countless hours last year and part of this year in 2023 with my insurance company and finally we found out what the problem was. They were sending the claims to the wrong address. I had a cleaning back in may of this year 2023 and when I finished I asked ***** about this. She was very rude to me through the entire conversation about this situation. She told me in a very rude way that I had to speak to someone else about that. Since I over paid for the cleaning back in may of 2022 and November of 2021 and it was an error on there end I had every right as a customer to discuss my bill with her without being talked to like a child. Now I just got a bill for 37 dollars the balance left over from 2 insurance companies for me to pay. I called again and **** answered the phone and wasn't friendly either especially when she used the word yep and told me it would be turned over to collections when I told her they wasn't getting another dime out of me. Very unprofessional. That 37 dollars is going to compensate me for my time and aggravation of there mistake and the way I was talked to by ****. I will never step foot in that place again. So unless you want to be treated and talked to like a 10 year old child and worry about wether or not your claim is filled correctly stay away from steel city implants and periodontics

      ******, we have been caring for you and your periodontal needs since 2018.  Insurance companies can be hard to navigate.  When your insurance changed, you became out of network.  We are not contracted with ******************* but we still complimentary file your claims with their network.  We have an insurance specialist who has communicated with insurance companies and reviewed polices and benefits for over twenty years.  On occasion she works remotely.  She was not in the office the day of your cleaning.  Our team member whom you spoke to helps with patient scheduling but is unfamiliar with insurance.  She informed you she would need to talk to our insurance specialist and your response was possibly playful, but also could be considered accusatory of her not doing her job.  You called the office later that day.  All calls are monitored for quality assurance.  I listened to the conversation and at that time you were blatantly rude to our team member, saying "I can say whatever the h*** I want to."  I feel it is best if you find another office to provide your periodontal care.  We can provide a copy of your records and radiographs at your request to help with your transition.
