Today, I had an unbelievable encounter with ****************** Henig. I called inquiring on a conversation we had earlier this summer. I spoke with him this summer and requested to purchase 5 capes. He informed me he would give them to me at the cost I paid last year and he guaranteed it. He asked that I contact him after he returned from a vacation with his wife in *****. I called back and he was on another vacation. He informed me he had to check his inventory. He texted back his inventory. I then called to give him my credit card information. He then renigged on the agreement. I also indicated they still had my chinchilla and the seamstress that initiated the repair two years ago and failed to complete the job and left a safety pin in the area that was incomplete. When making purchases I received a 10% offer if pictures are provided and the individuals the capes were bought sent in pictures and I never received the 10%. He initially stated he would give them to me for $699 I called today and he yelled at me when I asked again and he told me it would be $899. He said I asked the same every year. I informed him he was incorrect and what was true I have purchased large sums from them over 25 years and as a board member had hosted 2 very successful golf tournament where the non-profit did not benefit only they did. They kept my chinchilla for 2 years and I was unable to use it. I asked if he would send me my chincilla out of storage he said yes and hung the phone up on me. I then received an email stating I must send $30 to receive my chinchilla where company policy is anything valued over $100 is shipped free. When I made the other purchases there was a policy to get a free pair of gloves for each order and I never received them. I am beyond disappointed. I have NEVER had a professional to yell at me and renigged on what he guaranteed. What is even more troubling is that there was a charge SPECIFIC to me of $30.
