This company is a complete waste of time. They lack integrity, punctuality, & honesty. Contacted them in March 2023 to put in french drains & level yard, basic landscaping work. ********, the employee paid $350 to create a design, brought total BS twice before she finally addressed what I wanted. It was as if she thought if she tried enough I would agree to a bunch of flower beds instead of the drains & leveling. On July 11, I asked for the $350 to be returned as I never got a design for the requirements. The first design did not address the lawn issues & appeared to be a list of plants copied from some other document/the web; it was obvious no effort went into addressing the lawn issues as described. The second design was an obvious attempt to increase costs & again did not address the requirements. Plenty of time had passed since the design fee of $350 was paid in March. Invoice ***** should you decide to be honest & refund. So they took $350 & never made a design. It was July before the project was submitted to their "estimator", that is 4 months! Then they sent me an invoice on Aug. 4 (5 months) even though there was no design nor contract! ********* explained via email that money is due when their GM signs the contract, a contract I have yet to see! These people are idiots! Who pays without knowing what they plan to do?! The amount was wrong the first time & had to be corrected. Then they sent a contract that was so poorly written I could not in good conscience & considering their lack of integrity, sign it. I redlined/corrected it. The *** ******, called to discuss. Her excuse for not honoring the contract? I wanted to spread, on the cleaned out lawn, (grass removed, just dirt), some dirt that I shoveled from felled trees as it decomposes into a rich dirt. Apparently, So. Scape can guarantee dirt as if they are God, but when other dirt is put on top, they can't. Would never recommend this company, very unprofessional.
