In June of 2023, we purchased a wood boiler from Hoss Mfg out of merdianville, *******. The purchase price was $20,000. We were informed that hoss mfg has a wood boiler that was ready to ship. We were advised that he was putting that boiler to the side for us and putting together an order that would come up north, and save us money on shipping.The owner stopped answering his phone and provided no updates as to when we would receive the boiler which we had paid for. As of October 31st, we still have no shipment confirmation, no updates on manufacturing status, and 0 communication back from Hoss manufacturing representatives. We have request our money to be returned, or the stove to be shipped asap. Of which we have not received a response to either. We fear that this is a scam.Business response

We have spoken to *** at LEAST weekly and updated him on his order status and the remaining units that were discussed to ship with his. I have personally spoke to him every Monday via phone calls and multiple text to update him. I explained to him yesterday that his unit was in the batch being ran currently and that his was almost finished and that I would update him as things progressed. I offered to ship his separately if he needed us to. I will send him updates via text as we complete his unit. We are working diligently to get his order ready.

A check was mailed to Hoss Manufacturing for $16,001.00 on 4/25/2023 for a Top Loader Model 128 HE wood furnace as indicated on invoice number ****. Hoss indicated unit would be ready in mid June, also indicated on the invoice. Product still has not been received and Hoss will not respond to phone calls or emails. Hoss does respond to texts. I have asked for an update via text on the following dates:- June 2nd request for a phone call; **** responded same day that he would call, no call received - June 15th Hoss sent text asking when I planned to pick up furnace; a phone conversation occurred on June 16th and Hoss indicated unit was not ready for pick up. **** would contact me with a completion date - June 28th sent Hoss text asking for an update; **** responded they were on vacation until July 6th and he would send the unit to me - August 15th sent Hoss text asking for an update; **** responded August 17th that he would call the next day and that the unit was going to be "run out the next week"; no phone call received - September 12th sent Hoss text asking for update and that I could come after it. Indicated in the text that if no response was received by September 15th I would start the process of getting my money back; **** responded on September 15th that he would call September 18th with the production schedule.- September 22nd no phone call was received on September 18th; sent text to send my money backBusiness response

We run these discounted units in together with the same models to save cost. We have all of your parts made and assembled. Production is planned to begin on you unit in a few weeks and we will let you know as soon as we can when its going to be ready.

Contact with Hoss MFG owner *******************, began in Novemeber 2022, in full wire transfer payment for custom woodburner made December 15 2022. January 16 2023 Owner if Hoss MFG claims product is ready to ship. January 20 2023 Hoss MFG ******************* Claims it was to be ship out on January 23, 2023. Hoss MFG owner has since failed to supply with shipping confirmation, pictures and all communications.Business response

Customer unit was delivered and received as stated. The unit was held at fed -ex freights facility due to damage during shipping. We advised the customer to either accept the shipment, file a claim and repair it or to send it back to us. The customer accepted the unit, we sent a quote to them for repairing the unit for them to process the claim and for the customer to repair and collect the claim directly.Initial Complaint

I paid ****** for my Outdoor wood boiler he lied to me every week for 4 months saying he was gonna deliver it never delivered it finally got it it was damaged and it leaks to And did not give me chemicals or an asteroid with it he lied to me and told me he sent the rake and I have never received it And I filed a claim with delivery company and they denied itBusiness response

We palletized your unit with 2x6 boards. It left our facility in mint condition. If it was damaged by the freight company they are responsible for fixing it.Initial Complaint

We wire $21,600 to Relationship Banker at the request of ***** ******************* for a Top Loader Model 128 HE on January 14, 2022. Last contact with him was in November and he stated they were running behind. He would call me back when they were assembled. I have left multiple phone messages and text with no response. His unit is being batched with others and we have been in communication with him since the backorders are being manufactured.
