Warranties not being honored. The ** was purchased on 01/29/2014. Warrantied until 01/30/2025. ********* making little attempt to repair **.I possess the contract and bill of sale. The ** unit is at *************************************************************** I'm acting on my mothers behalf. She is terminally ill.Business response

We have ordered the defective parts from the manufacturer. They are not parts we can make, they are OEM parts. There are 6 parts needed and we have received 4 and the remaining 2 are on backorder. We have inquired to the manufacturer, ******* Air Conditioning, 11 times with still no ETA on the remaining 2 parts. We are not failing to provide the warranty parts, it is the manufacturer who has not provided the parts to this date. We will continue to inquire until we receive the parts. We did provide a temporary fix to circumvent the parts so her unit would cool. If that is not working we are not aware.Customer response

***********************This is the same response as last year. I *************************** remembers last year. My mother sat through the same situation last AUGUST! In the heat. Same excuses as now. If *********** parts suppliers are this weak providing parts, then maybe you should include this information in your service agreement. I have had another AC repair company inspect the unit and they can't see where anything has been repaired or altered, except the model and serial # plate has been removed. All they found was a hand full of cowling screws missing from the unit cover. Cold (cool) air is gushing from around the duct work feeding the outside of the unit. I have had to supply 3 window units! They were informed at least 5-8 times of the situation.
One more bit of information for *********. They can rest well because they have outlasted my mother. She died 8/8/2023. I'm sorry this may be outside of the 10-day window, but I was in the middle of my mother's last hours and a funeral.

**************, we are sorry for your loss. We have been advised from the manufacturer that we should have the missing parts in about 3 weeks. Again, we are very sorry for the delays, but we have no control over the OEMs when it comes to receiving warranty parts. We will contact you when the parts arrive to schedule the replacements.
