I keep having a computer problem of the engine slowing and making me pull over.Its happened 3 ******** well as multiple check engine lights and the Dash panel keeps changing without changing it.Ive been stranded in ******** and twice on the road in ********Ive taken it back to the dealership and nothing has been actually done with the exception of one time and they said a break module has been the problem.While I was there 3 times they had multiple vehicles there with the same problem of engine slowing down and they said that they have been asking GM for fixes on ******* vehicle this weekend shut down and I was able to get it running again by disconnecting the battery and re-connect it to continue on.I have taken it to the dealership again today and they said there were a couple of recalls they hope would fix this time.They had other units in there with the same issue again as mine.I need some sort of resolution for understanding that this will always be taken care of.Or maybe replacing with another unit.I bought this 2023 Tahoe New 10/18/2024 Ser#***************** Thank You ****** *******Business response

I've spoken with Mr. Nichols about the concern with his Chevrolet Tahoe. Although its current status is repaired and functioning properly, he's concerned that it could continue to be a reoccurring issue. For this reason, he's seeking a commitment that this issue would always be a covered repair. Mr. Nichols purchased his 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe new last October. I've explained to him that a product concern of this nature would have to be addressed by the manufacturer, as they provide the warranty coverage. I provided the telephone number for Chevrolet's Consumer Assistance Hotline. Product concerns of this nature need to be customer initiated and a case number will be created and provided. I've assured Mr. Nichols that we are absolutely an advocate of his complete satisfaction and will provide Chevrolet any information or repair order documentation that they may request in an effort to help him find a resolve.Customer response

I had to take my vehicle back Monday morning.
check engine light came on again.
went to service at long Lewis in Muscle Shoals Alabama and the service department said it had multiple code problems again.
they kept my vehicle and said they need to get an engineer involved.
they gave me a rental to drive.
Tahoe went into there service department 10/07/2024 at 0816

Mr. Nichols' Tahoe has been returned to our Service Department displaying some malfunctioning codes. We've opened a TAC (Technical Assistance Center) case with Chevrolet, which allows their team to review the diagnostic findings in an effort to determine a definitive course of action. We've also provided alternate transportation while Chevrolet is working to identify the issue. I noted in my initial response that this is an issue of a product concern, and while we're certainly an advocate of helping Mr. Nichols find a timely solution, I really don't understand the reason for a BBB complaint against our dealership. I've provided Mr. Nichols contact information for Chevrolet's Customer Assistance Center, which would allow him to request a possible manufacturer's buy-back, trade assistance or possibly some extended guarantee, which was his original request. Mr. Nichols shared with me that he previously worked for a Chevrolet dealership and had considerable experience with this type of circumstance.
