We bought a car from this dealership back in July. We had a trade in that the dealership was giving us $4,000 for. 22 days with having the used car, it broke down. Come to find out it needed a new engine, and the warranty company we were paying would not cover the cost. We contacted the dealership about the situation and they were rude and was of no help. The owner even told us that there was no inspection done prior to the sale. Not only did this happen, the guy who sold us the car, and told us the trade in value was $4,000.... he lied and did not give us $4,000. He only gave us $2,000 and some change. Dealing with this whole situation has caused my family emotional stress and we feel as if we deserve ATLEAST the remaining of what we SHOULD have gotten. AND NOT ONLY did these events happen, the guy misspelled my name on all of my paperwork (it was all electronic) i told the guy and he said verbatim "oh its okay, it doesnt matter". Not to mention, the guy who sold the car to us had apparently quit within 22 days of when we bought the car. Sound very fishy to me.

      Dear BBB,

After receiving your email we reviewed this. The customer took their vehicle to the Dodge Dealership in for repair. We spoke directly with the Dodge Dealership as well as the extended warranty company and they advised us they would not be paying for the repair as the customer continued to drive the car after it overheated. Regarding the amount of their **** ****** Camry with ******* mile trade in it is clearly listed on the bill of sale as $2,850. We have the original bill of sale with the customers signature where they reviewed and signed. The customer also received a copy as well along with a title application and an affidavit for them to get a tag. The last time we spoke with the customers wife she was cussing in front of kids demanding $17,000 when the vehicle was only sold for $14,995. We simply cannot help that the extended warranty company will not cover something due to negligence. Thank you for your time.

I am rejecting this response because: the guy that sold ** the ******* specifically told me that the **** Camry was worth $4000 and that he would take this. Also, he E signed my name on all the paper work and I really didnt see any of it. So thats something to take up with him. I also told him he spelled my name incorrectly and told me that it did not matter. As far as my wife, you shouldnt be dealing with business in front of children and from my understanding love she realized kids were around she apologized and did not speak another curse word. This was also over the phone so she had no idea. And as far as her asking you for $17000 is a total lie. She told you that was the price they were giving her for a new engine taking almost 2 months to reply, is the most irresponsible and unprofessional thing. We also have proof of the conversation, if you want to go that far. Thank you.

      Sincerely,
