Hello, You came to my property last month to fix the AC through American Home Warranty. Your company stated I needed a new compressor pump. I purchase the 550 compressor pump only for a a month later my AC still is not fix. I had to call Dash AC who informed me that the compressor pump your company install was install incorrectly that caused the AC unit in the attic to leak Freon and needed a new compressor coils. I had to take out a loan to get a new AC unit because your company is lacking knowledgeable HVAC technician. I am highly disappointed in your company. I called the number left a message and no one bothered to call me back.

Part of American Home Shield repair. Billed me for things “not covered” by AHS. Like risers and new duct work. After all was said in done, they never used risers and it’s original ductwork - you can tell because the old tape on the duct vs the new tape around the unit; plus the spray texture covering the original duct. Now, 4+ years later, my HVAC is having issues. Come to find out the company never registered the warranty for my HVAC. Which means it’s at the end of its warranty, instead of what should have been a 10y warranty. So yeah. Avoid them, they’re definitely putting in minimum effort where it counts and squeezing every penny out of you and the warranty company.

Won’t answer their phone and I’ve asked to be put on their service plan no call never see them. I’ve got a system put in 4 years ago never can get a phone call returned! They will put a system in for $5000 but you won’t see them again I wonder why!

They do the bare minimum and rarely get to the root of the problem, having to come back numerous times. Even after 3 visits I ended up going with another company.

Don't let all the negative reviews fool you. Here's my story. Just the other day our A/C system stopped working. We have a home warranty policy and so we contacted them to make They sent a guy out from a mechanical service. Not Cabot Mechanical. The guy was here a total of about 8-10 minutes. He said it was a bad thermostat. But tells me he cant install a new thermostat because I removed the thermostat while trying to install an old thermostat we had.. That guy leaves after giving me instructions on how to install a new thermostat. Well as it turned out it wasn't the thermostat that was bad and so I couldn't "self repair". We called the warranty Co to complain. This is where Cabot Mechanical came into play.The guy they sent out was 100% pro. He was really nice and professional. He got right to work diagnosing the problem. While doing that he explained In a way that I could understand what was going on with the system. He did this without me having to ask. Through his investigation he determined that the problem occurred due to being a couple lbs low on freon. He added freon and then cleaned the outside unit . Dude was a pro, a/C has worked perfectly since then. Zero complaints here. I would most def use Cabot Mech. Svc ahaj Technician at Cabot Mechanical deserves to be recognized for his performance. He was exactly what you want your employees to be. Friendly, professional, accurate, punctual, and obviously a master at his trade. Cabot Mechanical should buy him a steak dinner for his efforts. So who is the superhero you ask? the business card says "David" but in case the card wasnt correct. im Sunset job To anyone else reading my review.... I am not affiliated with Cabot Mechanical or the technician. In fact I didn't know Cabot Mechanical existed until the day before my appointment.. My review is unbiased and 100% accurate. No bs here. Give Cabot Mechanical a chance to give you the same kind of experience that I got.
