I am writing to formally request your assistance in pursuing legal action against Grey Orr Cadillac dealership in Hot Springs due to the ongoing issues with a vehicle I purchased from them in June 2024. Since acquiring the vehicle a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, I have faced significant and persistent mechanical problems that have caused financial loss, emotional distress, and disruption to both my personal and professional life. On June 8,2024 I purchased the aforementioned vehicle from Grey Orr Cadillac. Almost immediately after the purchase, the vehicle began experiencing mechanical failures, requiring frequent repairs. Over the past several months, the truck has been in and out of the shop nearly every other week. Most recently, on August 29 2024, while I was in Atlanta, the vehicle completely stopped functioning. I had to: . Pay for last minute flight home out of pocket. .Arrange for transportation to the airport .Cover additional costs, such as airport meals,while waiting for my return flight. Mechanical issues &Dealership Negligence: I had the vehicle inspected by a Chevrolet dealership, where they replaced the engine and installed starter. However, when the new engine was put in, several error codes surfaced. The dealership’s representative also mentioned that the vehicles transmission had likely been an issue from the start, When Orr dealership Hot Springs Arkansas contacted the **** ***** Chevrolet in Georgia Mr. Mike or Mr Lance let them know that it was a used transmission in the truck. Request for Assistance I would like to pursue legal action to seek compensation for the expense I have incurred, including but not limited to the cost of repairs, travel expenses, lost of wages, and damages for the undue stress and inconvenience caused by the dealership’s failure to provide a functional vehicle. Please let me know how we can move forward with filing a complaint and whatever else I can do., any further documentation, I will be happy to provide it.Business response

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We appreciate your business and are committed to addressing any concerns you may have and are very sorry for any inconvenience you have experienced. After further review, you purchased a vehicle "As Is - No Warranty" which you acknowledge by evidence of your signature (attached for reference). However, we still repaired every issue that you have had, either internally or by portfolio with no out of pocket expense. I am rejecting this response because: but I don’t know that it was a used transmission, and the service guy was saying they don’t know why I was having so many problems with this vehicle. And also they had brought the vehicle to this dealership on that Friday before I got it that Saturday so that mean y’all didn’t service it on y’all need

From our service records, we have no documentation that the transmission has been replaced. This vehicle also passed a full used car inspection from our Orr Acura location in Shreveport, LA prior to the vehicle being offered for sale. We respectfully request this matter to be closed.
