Our roof needed replacement due to a recent storm. After the insurance adjuster inspected, I called Southern Construction because they were fixing a number of houses in the neighborhood. Everybody seemed to be pleased, and I definately wanted a local roofer. Jared came out right away and gave me a quote, and they started about a week later. His crew was a very professional group of hard working men. They removed the house and garage roof in a day, and then replaced them the next. The roofs look wonderful, and they spent a long time cleaning up nails and leaving no trace. Jared was very nice and knowledgeable, and even took care of most of the insurance work for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciated his patience while waiting for the insurance check. Jared, Guy, Kevin and their crew were all excellent from start to finish. They had done a 1 shingle layer tear off, added a ridge vent, removed our outdated wind turbines, replaced a few pieces of roof plywood and added new layer of shingles for a fair price. Southern Construction was not our first choice on this job but they tesponded to our inquiry when our first choice did not. Their response was quick. We were extremely impressed with their work, professionalism, and the cost was as quoted. Very friendly people. They will be our first choice next time. I have done roofing in my younger years so I'm not the easiest person to impress. With this group I was.Review from Wendy B

Dan and Wendy ***** came out same day to give the estimate. SOOOOOO HONEST. 2 other roofers said we needed a lot of work. Jared was so honest, he passed up making a lot of money to tell us that we did NOT need any work on our roof. We had 15 years left on it. And, this was after storm damage from the tornado. We were so happy, we gave him a gift. I mean - he came right out, called first and was honest. Nothing like finding someone who is old school. Of course, we will call Southern Construction when ever we do need a roof.Review from Tony P

Had a few rounds with hail during bad weather last week. A little concerned there might be serious roof damage. A friend recommended Southern Construction Roofing. He said they had put a roof on his house and did an excellent job. Got an appt. The owner, Jared ****** came over and did the inspection. He was open, honest, and gave good recommendations. Have had folks before that were not open and honest. Will not hesitate to hire him when the roof does need to be replaced. A refreshing encounter with a great, hard working young man.

Jared, Kevin and his crew are the best I have seen. Due to storm damage my home and garage roofs had to be replaced. Jared worked with the insurance company and a week later I had 2 new roofs. Southern Construction and all the crew were not only the best, but attentive and did an excellent job. The job site was all cleaned before the crew left. If you need a new roof and a job well done at a fair price, call Southern Construction. You will not be disappointed.Review from Chris W

I Would not hire this company to roof my dogs house. 2021 had a new roof put on my house, it’s leaked ever since. They have attempted repairs ( silicone ) and that took 6 months . They blamed my chimney cap and after redoing that it still leaks only worse now. Ohh and the new cap is literally falling apart but they still won’t repair it. Stay awayReview from Veronica M

I have to say I love honest people. Jared is forthright, honest, and hates to see elders scammed. He saved me $51000.00 by checking my roof and attic ,that I was told was leaking ,and had mold in the attic by another company.. I am so grateful I called his company. Thank you So much. We needed a new roof and Jared 's crew did a good job. He recommended creating a cricket to divert water from the chimney, replace the flashing, and add a better ventilation for the roof. I was finally able to get rid of my old rotting Coppola that we just kept painting. He even put new mortar on our cracking stone chimney with no added cost. We had another roofing company make a bid, they were cheaper but never recommended anything to make the roof and ventilation better.Review from Marie F
