On 11/7/21 ScissorHands by ****** and Jimmie had posted a $85 hair service. I reached out to ****** to get scheduled for a hair appointment Friday the 12th and sent her the $85 via Cashapp. Since then she had cancelled multiple times and rescheduled multiple times so eventually I asked for a refund. She's refused to give me a refund and states she doesn't do refunds but she never mentioned that in her post, nor any post if that. She has now blocked me on all socials that I've tried to reach out to. Cashapp would not assist me in the dispute and she refuses to give back the $85.

      Business response

      04/27/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/02/02) */ ******* ***** purchased a POP-UP SALE GIFT CARD on November 5th, 2021. I have had Pop Up Sales on Color Services since I first began working at the shop back in 2013. I have always said no refunds on these gift cards. When she reached out to me via text message asking to purchase a gift card, I assumed she had been a returning client and knew the info regarding my sales and how they worked. I also have listed on my Scissorhands Salon Hair Facebook page that I DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS ON SALE GIFT CARDS. We had some scheduling issues, and due to the inconvenience, I even offered to give her an additional gift card so her mother could get her hair done as well. Normally no it is not hard to get scheduled with me but during this specific time I was going through some personal issues, my husband whom I had been married to for 9 years asked for a divorce. My 5-year-old son also was admitted to the hospital around this time. I have always managed to work with my clients in a super professional matter and I tried working with *******. After the scheduling issues she decided she didn't want the hair appointment anymore and wanted her money back. She keeps saying she paid for a service she didn't receive; no, she purchased a Gift card and wants a refund - that's the real issue. she didn't like when I told her I don't give refunds. so, she then decided to threaten to go to social media if I didn't give her the $85 back. In which she did. She decided to bash my shop on Facebook. After no response from me she then had her mother text me late at night during the week demanding her daughter's money or she would go to my shop and basically shake down my 80-year-old grandmother. As my grandmother is in no way affiliated with my clients, she would be of no significant importance to speak with. My grandmother ****** owns Scissorhands Salon, and I booth rent from her. So yes, after I told her to not involve my grandma, I told her to stop harassing me and I blocked the mother's number as she is not the one who originally purchased the Gift card. yes, at that time I had also deactivated my personal Facebook because of the divorce, but the Scissorhands Facebook page was still up and running. I feel ******* has got way more than her $85 back with given everything she has done as far as the social media post- making it hard for me to gain new clientele and the nonstop harassment over something that I'm not going to change just for her. If it was a large amount of money, I could see the concern. The reason why I offer the pop-up sale is to help out my clients as well because the sale price is half the normal price of my hair color services. I am so sorry about all of this, and I wish to resolve this matter soon. Thank you so much, ****** *****
