**** the owner of ****'s customs committed insurance fraud and charged me an extra $500 for what he said would be a new clear coat and It was simply a spray on plastic that started pealing in 3 months. It was my first car accident and the person that me accepted full liability. The insurance check was $2300 but my car only had a small scratch from a lady scraping into my parked car. on the report it says that $1,496 were replaced in parts which is a complete lie. **** didn't even replace my bumper even though he said he was ordering parts to do so and when I called him out on it he said the insurance wouldn't cover such a small hit. I did not think twice about it because it was my first accident but after i gave him a $2500 check and $500 extra dollars I felt like something was wrong but I blindly trusted **** and the shop. I kept asking for printed copied of the paperwork and he would always say his printer was not working and write down really vague details on the paperwork. I even told them I work with children on the spectrum and they gave me a sob story on how they relate to me so they'd have more an emotional connection with me and they still screwed me over. My car's clear coat now is pealing and looks terrible and required a new paint job. my car used to look amazing in color and now its terrible looking and I feel so stupid for trusting these con men with my car. I just looked at their website and there are more reviews on their website with similar stories from other people. becasue **** was pressuring me to give him the insurance check so they can start on my car I ended up asking my mom for the $3000 in cash to give to **** while we waited for the check. Because my car's paint job was in perfect condition prior to being coned by **** and his business partner I am seeking the full $3000 that I gave to ****. My car is very sentimental to me and ever since **** screwed me over and my car looks terrible I am now depressed.Initial Complaint

On February 1st 2023 I took my 2015 corvette in to have repairs done as the front bumper and components behind it were damaged as well as the windshield. This body shop informed me that they would get it done quickly as soon as they received the money from State Farm. They then proceeded to not do anything to the car for nearly 3 weeks and I was told my car would remain inside of their shop but I found out it was outside the entire time in a public parking lot where anyone could have access to. I then found out they were not performing any repairs and were subcontracting out the work which I never agreed to. The insurance company had paid them to fix all of the compnenets that were damaged as per the insurance estimate but they told me they were not going to in order to save money on their end. That was when I retrieved my vehicle back as they were refusing to correctly repair the vehicle and they also refused to refund me the $4900 that was paid to them that way I could take it to another shop.
