We went to samari steakhouse Saturday May 11,2024 @5pm. We all got bad food poisioning from the food. We also had left over food and all of the food with in a day was moldy. This place was recently taken over by new management and we have ate there many times. To know that our food was moldy not even 24 hours and we all have been severely sick.Business response

Hello,
I am responding to a complaint submitted by ******* ******* after dining at our restaurant, ‘Samurai Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi’ in Bullhead City, AZ. ********* party dined in for teppan, a meal that is prepped fresh daily and cooked in front of our guests on a teppan grill. Her party was not satisfied with their meal and asked for a discount. We declined to offer any discount and then received a negative Google review from ******* ******* the following day claiming her leftover food grew mold; however, the review was edited and reposted again 5 days after her original review with a new photo of mold growth on the food. If her claims were true and the ingredients we used that night were compromised we would have received other potential complaints from the 200+ guests we served that night. We did not receive any complaints on May 11, 2024 or after that day. It was roughly 90 degrees F the day of her complaint so we are concerned about the condition of her leftovers once it left our restaurant given that the photo was uploaded 5 days after dining in.

I do not accept the buisness response. I have attached the picture showing proof the picture was taken May 13, 2024 the day after Mothers day. We always have left overs and never had this issue where the food molded in the fridge after not even 24 hrs after leaving the restaurant. We never asked for a discount in house. We visited the samurai steakhouse several times before the new owner took over and loved the food. And it always kept us coming back. After the new owner took over they raised the price, cut the portion size and changed some of the ingredients. The food had a very different taste it had no flavor at all. We all got sick that night and i was told by the health department to try to figure this out with the resturant otherwise we will file a health department complaint as well. We would like a full refund and i will not be returning nor recommending this resturant again.
