This morning I called Phoenicians to schedule an appt to see **************** for a sinus infection Ive had for a couple weeks. The lady who answered offered me an appt for 1445 with the opt of in-person or video. I accepted video. At approx 1420, I received a call from Phoenicians thinking it was **************** but when I answered it was a lady asking me to pay my co-pay. The last video appointment I had this was not a requirement. I explained I wasnt comfortable giving my credit card info over the phone. She then became a little rude and told me I have to pay in order for **************** to call for my appointment. I explained to her I wast that when I called. She continued to be rude and I asked for her name which she provided *****. I told ***** I would like to speak with her manager and she told me if I dont pay I will not receive the call. Again, I explained I am not comfortable giving payment over the phone. ***** started to cut me off. I asked who is her manager and she gave me the managers name which I forgot. I told her that is rude and she shouldnt treat patients that way. She then hung up on me. I called back and got the call center. I asked for the manager and was told she was in a meeting. I asked for her voicemail and was transferred. I left a message for the manager. As soon as I hung up, I received another call from Phoenicians. It was ***** calling me back to patronize me stating. She called the billing department and it appears I have a $40 balance that I need to pay. I told her not to call me again and asked why would she call me back after hanging up on me. She continued to be condescending and kept telling me she was going to cancel my appointment. I insisted she didnt and asked to speak with a manager. I then went to the office to speak with the *************** was at the desk and told me the manager was not in. I called the call center again and as Im speaking with them ***** was making rude remarks. She called me you people in a racial slur.

I received an invoice from this company and made my first payment online. The payment was not recorded and I had to send several copies of my subsequent payments made from my bank account with a request for an invoice or **** showing payments and updated balance. I recently sent tow more proofs of payment with another request for a full accounting of my **** and balance. I just received another request for payment with no change in the balance. It was sent via text message. I have also spoken to someone in the billing department who indicated that she would review my **** and send an updated **** showing payment. I have not received anything other than bills that show no payments made.

      Hello,
The payments have been recorded in our system and the total invoice that is still due is definitely less now as the payments have been applied. Someone from billing office is trying to call to clearly explain and give any information needed but unable to contact the patient. They will however continue to call. There seems to be no issue at the end of receiving payments or applying the payments
      Thanks
      Siri

According to their records I paid a total of $393.40. After review of a statement from them the original amount was $517.52. The printout they sent me shows a balance of $301.30. The is no explanation of what the additional $301.30 is for. Based on my calculations it should be $124.12.

This has been my issue with them since receiving billing I have only received 2 statements from them the last one dated 4/4/22 which had a balance of ****** after which payments were made. I am still not getting clear accounting of the bills.
