On March 22, 2022, a technician came out to my house to diagnose a problem I was having with my ** refrigerator. He told me the compressor had failed. He charged me $79.00 for the diagnostic fee. He told me if I had the repair man come out from Affordable Appliance Repair to install the compressor, the $79.00 would be deducted from from the installation fee. If I "did not choose to have Affordable Appliance Repair install the compressor" I would lose the $79.00 fee, which was charged to my Citicard credit card.When I called ** to order the compressor, they told me they would not ship the compressor to me. They said they would only ship it to the vendor that was going to complete the installation.When I called the vendor, they told me they would not accept the delivery. It had to be delivered to me. (Note, I was calling **************. I called ************** and was assured the number I called was affiliated with this number).There is nothing I can do about ** insisting on shipping the compressor to the vendor instead of directly to me. I do not "choose" to go to a different company for the installation. I have no choice if Affordable Appliance Repair will not accept the delivery. Before the technician came out to my house I spoke to the person who answered the 'phone at Affordable Appliance Repair and specifically asked if they could work on my refrigerator since it was under warranty. I was told that would not be a problem. I want a refund of the $79.00 diagnostic fee I was charged.Business response

That is incorrect, we absolutely take shipment of the compressors from LG.
