Anytime not accepting my cancellation This is for the Anytime Fitness at 6715 E. 2nd. St., Prescott Valley AZ, *****. Owner: ******************************* and ***************************. Anytime Fitness is claiming I did not cancel my membership. I went in person on February 13, 2024, to cancel. I signed the papers to cancel. I stopped going in August due to our move. They charged me for march twice. Twenty-eight dollars. Once on March 12, 2024, then on March 26. 2024. I called my bank to stop payment. They kept sending me emails telling me I didn't pay my monthly membership. I called them to get this resolved and the person I spoke with told me she would get this fixed. I never heard back from them. I ignored their emails because I cancelled. Now they put me on debt collections saying I owe for six months. The collections told me I should have paid for March because I had to wait 30 days until my membership was cancelled and since I stopped the payment they rejected my cancellation. They never once called or in my email explained to me that was what I needed to do. I tried calling them but they never answered or got back to resolve this. I am still trying to call to no avail.Date of experience: July 03, 2024Initial Complaint
