Hello, My 70 years old Grandmother purchased a stove from this store 2/28/2024 in the amount of $280.00. stove came with a 90days warranty. A neighbor picked up the stove and installed it. and it had been discovered that the oven doesn't work. My grandmother went to the store and spoke with manager/owner by the name ******. ****** informed my grandmother that she will send a technician to look at the oven, a week passed by an no one came to look at the oven. Again my grandmother went back to the store and spoke with the same person. Again this person told a technician will come on Monday. My grandmother went back to the store and ask for a refund as 3 weeks passed and no one came to look at the store. Again ****** convinced my grandmother to keep the stove. A month passed and no one came. A family member called the sore and finally a technician was sent and he informed my grandmother that the owner will not fix the stove due to stove not being manufactured/luck of finding parts and is too expensive to fix it. My grandmother went back to the store to talk to ****** and she was told that the part was ordered. 2 weeks later ****** kept telling my mother they are still waiting for parts. I called ****** and without even asking for invoice number she tried to make me believe that the house is not equipped with a 220v outlet. ****** hanged up on me while I tried to explain that this is not true. I called the store myself and she only took the time to talk to me after I threaten her to file a complaint . She had promise that she will call the technician and call us back. ****** never called back and the *********************************************************************** replace the stove. Upon doing a resource there are other complaints about this store dishonesty and it appears that she is targeting seniors and selling them non working applianceInitial Complaint

5/5/2024 ARIZONA BBB COMAPLAINT SUBMITTED AGAINST SUN CITIES APPLIANCE, El Mirage, Arizona On 4/22/2024 I purchase a Used White **************** Refrigerator with French Doors and a Freezer Compartment for Sun Cities Appliance for $450.00 Dollars; and ***** from Sun City Appliance Requested payment be made in cash. To which I agreed and did not see a problem with pay in cash then. However, once the refrigerator arrived I immediately noticed several dents, scuffs and scrapes on the Left-hand Side of the refrigerator when you are facing it. I also discovered that the Kick-Plate or sometimes called the Bottom Valance/Guard Cover which protects the undercarriage of the fridge cooling components and water lines too. . To resolve this matter Sun Cities Appliance (Ms. ****** need to send me check for the $50.00 and have a Repairman come and Fix the Kick-Plate/Protective Cover on my refrigerator. I am redoing my Home in ******* **. I paid for a appliances from ********. from ******** On Invoice Pp8840 July 18, 2023. The owner ******..is giveing me excuse after excuse why she is not replacing Refrigerator! Not WorkingI wish to sell the Home have going to her place off business 3 time, she promised it will be there ***, I go to the home Wed, and old one is still there and not running.Going on two months , so I need help. Ordered appliances from this business. Specifically from *****. She sold me broken appliances. For 3 months kept promising to send someone to repair them. Never got them repaired. After I disputed it with the bank and got the money back she lied to my bank and said that ** lying to my own bank. She picked up the appliances right after and my bank issued her my money back because she said that I still had the appliances. Then I went to ask for my refund in person and so far its almost been a month and no refund.Initial Complaint

Purchased a used GE fridge with Sun Cities Appliance on 11/2/22 with a 30 day warranty. All was well until the ice machine stopped working 2 1/2 weeks later.I called on 11/23 to report that the ice machine was broken, the guy I spoke to scheduled an appt for a tech to come out on 11/28 but the tech was a no call, no show.11/30 I called again and got another appt scheduled. The lady told me someone would stop by at noon but when 3 pm rolled around and no one had called, I called and spoke to the lady again. She stated the tech was delayed because of another issue and that the tech would come the next day 12/1.Finally on 12/1 the tech showed up and stated that the ice machine was in fact broken in which I already knew that. The tech did not attempt to fix the ice maker, instead he stated he would have to tell the office but that he would have to come back out. It was late by then and I couldn't get a hold of the store.On 12/2 I called twice on 12/2 and was told they were still trying to figure out when a tech could come out. No one ever called me back.12/5, I have called them 3x time today and their line is busy!!I'm now highly doubting that this fridge that I purchased from Sun Cities Appliance will ever get fixed, even though I was still under warranty when I called to report the issue. At this point, I just want a partial refund.Initial Complaint

I purchased a washer and dryer from them on 01/26/2022. Today is May 07th, 2022. In the beginning they brought the pair of washer and dryer to our rental apartment. I had to refuse the washer it was all bent up on all sides and looked like it was very old. It was not what I picked out when visiting the business. I was supposed to get newer washer and dryer. We did keep the dryer and send back the washer. The dryer kept overheating and we ended up just junking the dryer. We never took the washer on delivery so they owe us for the washer in the amount of ****** plus the tax we paid. I kept calling for our money back and she kept telling me it was being mailed out. Finally in May they told me they sent my money by paypal to us. However I did not receive the money back by pay pal. She showed me some kind of a receipt saying it was refunded but I am not sure what person they refunded the money to as it was not me and has never showed up in my pay pal account. Which I can show my pay pal account to BBB to prove no money came back to me. So my complaint is I want my money back for a washer we never excepted on delivery on January 2th of this year.
