This place switched vehicles on me when I went in for a 4 wheel drive truck. I asked for a specific truck w/ 4wherl drive- they showed me the truck I asked for, but while doing paper work they asked for the key back and later return with key again saying truck is now on other side of the building they did t give paper work in hand to go over they had me sign a contract TWICE which is very odd and when I drove away I realized this wasnt the same truck IT DID NOT HAVE 4wherl drive any longer but they sold it to me as the price of one and didnt remove all the added warranties they just added themselves after is said I dont want themAutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert Response

I'd like to leave zero stars if I could. I bought a used 2010 Dodge Challenger last December. I have had nothing but problems with this car. It needs a new engine after putting barely ***** miles on it. Never received all of my paperwork. After the sale, the salesman Kade was very rude. I called recently to find out what they will do to make things right since the car broke down about 3 months after buying it. Been paying a ridiculous payment monthly since and finally was able to bring it into dealer in hopes the warranty I was talked into would pay for the repairs, only to get a denial. This car has had continual problems almost from the get-go. A total lemon. No one cares. They just sell a time bomb, and I'm stuck with a worthless piece of metal and paying over $500 monthly, plus insurance. No calls back, nothing.AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert Response

Very poor customer service from the service department 2 weeks ago. We took our 2017 Buick Enclave in for an alternator replacement. When we got it back, the car wouldnt start. I had to chase down the service guy and tell him to jump my car. No apology, just well it started when the tech drove it up here. Also I was told tire pressure system was fixed but in fact it was not. And to top it off my car was filled with leaves and dirt from the dust storm. No attempt to clean it or to apologize. I doubt the service guy even noticed my car was dirty. I emailed corporate and was told I would get a response in ***** hours. That was over a week ago. I highly recommend you avoid the service department here. Go the **** or a ********** location and save yourself a huge headache!Review from Tiffany B

The sales guy was great, too bad he went on vacation for my pick up! This dealership lacks communication, organization and can not even do the basicsI the customer had to make sure they charged me my down payment as they handed me the keys and said I can go, I had to call back to get a temp license plate that was emailed to me because they didnt even put it on the truck, my truck was not filled up with gas as promised. My truck was suppose to come with an extra key, lack of communication ok they are getting me one in a few days. My truck was delivered from another dealership in ********************* to Gilbert, I picked up the truck with an extra 290 miles, how did this happen ? I spoke to a sales manager who told me I could pick up my car today, they had it in the shop making sure it was inspected. No report no information, no note to anyone to find the keys when I came to pick it up. This place needs more training and doesnt meet the basic standards of most dealerships. I am very disappointed with the staff, finance team, and management. Obviously I am upset and frustrated its not my job to tell you how to do yours.a customer service training course would be highly recommended to go along with the basic policy and procedure on for pick ups.I asked the ** to call me on Monday, I also replied to the text asking me to rate this dealership and asked the ** to call me. I called in this morning and asked for him to call me..... crickets.I finally received the inspection report for *********, which means ****** at AutoNation Gilbert did not do one. Brevin, the sales guy did fed me my key and said the AutoNation in North Phx would call me to set up an appointment to program my key. Its been almost 2 weeks NOTHING. I just had both exhaust manifold replaced on the truck. This should have been picked up in the inspection report. I still need tires. I still CAN NOT get ahold of a ** and keep being told they will look into it and call me back.... NOTHING.Review from Alma M

I have been in communication with the dealership since my son purchased a vehicle here. We were told we will get a reimbursement for a battery that needed to be replaced. We sent in all the documentation we were told that it would be sent. It is now several months later actually Seven months later and no word from anyone Ive called *** left messages theyve told me they emailed whoever was supposed to take care of it, but nothing has been done.Review from Rebecca K

Called the dealership a couple weeks ago because my check engine light came on while driving on the freeway. The light later turned off, but since I had a long trip coming up I thought it would be best to bring it in to have the code pulled/checked. The dealership said they could not diagnose it if the light was off. I have since learned this was false. My 2021 Silverado broke down over 800 miles from home due to bad engine lifters (a common problem with this truck) and I was stranded out of state.Review from Timothy M

If I could give them no stars I would. We took her car in almost 3 weeks ago, and all we have heard from them is excuses such as they are short of people they are short of service people, etc. etc. they are very poor with communicating what is going on with a vehicle and seem to be able to offer nothing but excuses, I would definitely not recommend taking an EV there for service or any other car or buying a vehicle from them. They are totally unprofessional and seem to have no other recourse but excuses after excuses!Review from Daniel R

AutoNation is literally the last place i would ever come back to, refer anyone to this place, there service department is horrible. I bought my 2017 ***** Tahoe 5 months ago, within less the 30 days something was wrong with the engine, took it in, they said it was because lack on transmission fluid. 4 months later the engine started to act again. So i had to call towing for the vehicle to be picked up and take to autonation. Mind you we got the premium warranty package. I paid out of pocket 150, they didn't provide a car rental or anything to accommodate us for it. even though they knew, they would have the vehicle for awhile. it's been at there shop for more than a month now, still no vehicle. The service guy (Chase) has been ducking our calls about getting a rental, even though the warranty said it would cover it.. like this is really unacceptable for a big company like theres. there is no reason why my wife should be without a vehicle for that long. And all they have to say is "it's part of life, this is the world we are living in right now!!! Come on the vehicle was purchased for ****** and that's the best you guys can do!!! My daughter bought a used Jeep from the dealership, while home on leave. The vehicle was parked for most of the first week, while she was out of town visiting friends. A few days after returning home, she told me that she was afraid to drive the vehicle due to its erratic handling. We went for a drive and I experienced first hand what she was complaining about. It had a tendency to dart one way and then the other on irregular pavement, requiring the driver to keep two hands on the wheel at all times. We drove directly to the dealership and she spoke with a sales manager who was involved with her transaction. He asked her to bring the vehicle in first thing the next morning. She followed through and dropped the Jeep off before 8 am, the next morning. At 6 pm, she began calling the dealership and finally spoke to the sales manager at around 7 pm; the service department had closed at that point, but the sales manager informed her that the sway bar was bent. I drove her to the dealership to pick up the Jeep and we spoke to a gentleman, who I believe was the general sales manager. He denied that the bar was bent, but said that it had 'shifted' and that she would have to take it to a Jeep dealer to get it fixed. At this point, she had one day left, before she was required to report back to her base. She took the vehicle to a local Jeep dealer, but the dealership was unable to look at it. When she returned home, we began our own troubleshooting to see if we could ID the problem. We discovered that the tires were grossly overinflated! We lowered each tire to 32 psi, per the tire manufacturers recommendations and that fixed the problem. I can't believe that Autonation delivered a vehicle in such a condition and then had the Jeep back in its service **** for a whole day, to investigate a handling problem, and never checked the tire pressure! The dealership's sloppy service and lack of regard for my daughter's safety is alarming.
