This company installed electronic water meters on around September 2021. My water **** went up to double in the next couple of months. I just thought I was using more water. My last **** that the meter was "checked" on 12/15/2021 was 120.00$. Then, I assumed I had a leak. I spent hours searching for the leak. Called my plumber. He then sent out a professional leak detector beforehand because I could not find the leak. This company came out and could not identify any leaks. Mind you this company is claiming I used ***** gallons of water in one month. At the plumber's request I locked the water up. Then he told me to start time stamping the meter daily or twice a day. So, for 2 weeks I measured how much water I was using. So far it has been aobut 580 gallons for 2 weeks according to the meter. I first emailed the company the day the leak detector came out. I called, I texted. I put in a work order for a faulty water meter as a last ditch attempt to get a response. A person came out and 2 weeks later emailed me saying I must have a leak becasue my meter is "fine". I attempted to tell her and the manager continuously, yes the meter works. It is the numbers on the meter aren't being recorded correctly. I sent a picture of my ****, a picture of my actual water meter. A picture of the invoice of the professional leak detector on 12/28/21. I have sent so many emails asking for a resolution and no one responds. i believe if I am correct it is illegal to over charge for a water utility in the state of Arizona. This company chooses to ignore a reasonable requests to just look at the meter and look at what is on my ****? It is plain to see, for any person, the meter reads on my **** don't even come close to matching. The meter was brand new so in that case it is a reasonable assumption I have used about **** since it was installed. They continue to ignore me and not take my request serioulsy. Honestely, I just don't want to pay for something I'm not using.
