I dropped my **** GMC Yukon off at Busy B Automotive in *********** to get a transmission rebuild in September of 2021 it is now June 2022 almost a year. He gave me a quote of $3000 in November after taking apart my transmission and said 3wks it will be done. In January after not hearing anything my husband went there and he said he was finishing it up be ready next week. Myself, my husband and my dad have called every single week since and every single week it's "He's finishing it up to be ready beginning if next week. Next week never comes. I have gone into the shop with my sister 7wks ago and he said now *** needs replaced and he just got the part and promised to have it done that Friday. Friday never came. I go in there and he says the *** blew the transmission. I have spoken to other mechanics who say if that's true then he either programmed the *** wrong or he messed up the transmission when he rebuilt it. I have told him this is my only vehicle he has made me lose $7300 because I needed my GMC to tow things for other people and I have a cdl license so I can tow things others cannot legally do and also I'm stuck working here in town in ****** because I don't have a vehicle to drive to work outside of topock so I'm also losing money there on getting a better job. I'm tired of the run around its unprofessional. Other mechanics say he is full of it there is no way it would take more that 6wks tops and that's pushing it, and that he's trying to find ways to get more money. I'm tired of all of this I have 3 kids to get to Dr ************ and myself and have to borrow cars from other people. We live in middle of nowhere I need my truck. I told him if he couldn't fix it give it back but he promised he would get it done. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I have plenty of witnesses to prove I call weekly and here every week it will be ready next week. And because of how long it is taking and all the money I lost I should not have to pay for anything mo
