Stealing money from customer. Almost never fills the order properly and will not give refunds to the payment method used. $60 is the charge for next day delivery from the post office, they Charges $60 shipping for 2-3 day delivery, so they’re stealing money from the cost of shipping as well. They are constantly killing fish and screwing people over with their unethical business practicesInitial Complaint

I ordered live fish and after 2weeks or so the shipment was finally sent. They did not send the fish overnight mail which would be best for the fish and give them the best chance to survive. They were sent 2 day mail and when they arrived the 12 fish I ordered I was missing 1. The remaining 11 fish arrived with 6 dead fish and after 2 hours another fish died making 7 of the 11 fish dead with 2 hours of arrival. As of me writing this complaint it’s only been 3 hours since the fish arrived and with 4 fish alive I’m told they will give u a credit to buy more fish which is unacceptable. So I contacted my credit card company about the transaction to get help with this fraudulent company. Unfortunately I should have read the reviews because everyone has had the same experience. This company needs to be shut down for their inhumane treatment and shipping of these fish and their terrible customer service.Initial Complaint

Ordered online a tropical fish order from az gardens only received 1/2 of the order the most expensive half of the order i was told was out of stock, two months later order still has not been filled, requested refund was told no refund would be given but would get store credit. The fish are still listed as available on website. This is a version of the old bate and switch scam, They get people to order the exotic fish with full knowledge that the fish is not in stock and with no intention of ever shipping them then to refuse to give refund to get customer to order something they did not want in the first place. this is not a honest mistake or there website would have been updated weeks ago that the fish were not in stock but they are still trying to lure customers in to ordering this fish. They are claiming that it is there policy not to give refunds and that it was in there terms of service but no mention was made that they did not have to honor their website and i had reasonable expectations that the fish i was ordering were in stock and would be shipped in a reasonable amount of time, that has not happened, I do not want store credit did not want or need anything from this company and this kind of business practice is unacceptableInitial Complaint

I paid $30 for fish and $70 for shipping. The fish arrived alive but one of them looked literally nothing like the image and I’m pretty sure it was a female rather than a male. This is an issue as I have an all male tank and basically makes that fish unusable in my community tank. If it was a male, it was a piss poor excuse for one. I tried contacting them to sort this issue out. They said because the fish was not shown in the bag they can’t do anything about it which is crazy to me because shouldn’t you know what the trash fish you send out look like? Shouldn’t you at least know the genders of the fish you’re sending out when someone is paying $20 for a fish they could get for five dollars at their local store? Shouldn’t the fish look something like the image that they claim it will look like? My fish was quarantined for several days before being put in a community tank with two of the same species. I named it based off its lack luster appearance and moved on with my life. When I put it in the community tank the other two were chasing it which made me think it’s a female which means I can’t use the fish. The person on customer service said they can’t do anything because my fish was maybe fin nipped (it wasn’t, it’s looked like that the entire time). As a matter of fact, in the included image, that’s when the fish was alone in the quarantine tank. Really disappointed with this experience. I’m new to the hobby and honestly, this business has really put a damper on what was supposed to be really exciting for me.Initial Complaint

This company ID crooks an selling live animals without taken care of them. Bought some fish they were sent in a regular box no special tags for shippers to know what item was. Summertime hot weather so I'm sure they cooked in a card board box. I asked for refund or new fish an nope they gave me a credit to thier store like I wanna buy from someone who dose this to animals. Treat the like they nothing. Thus company need shut down they have no remorse for animals or anything I got online to see reviews after I purchased an it's terrible nothing positive. They won't credit person back they kill things because miss treatment. An then try say no refunds After thier neglect. Sorry buy they need stopped. An then accuse person of extortion after they ask for refund an you tell them take actions to prevent them from doing this. I hope no.one buys from these horrible people!Initial Complaint

Yesterday I tried to cancel transaction. When they told me they charge a $30.00 convenience fee. I decided to not cancel and continue with waiting for the order. As of right now, since yesterday afternoon. They have stopped answering my emails. Which worries me. Which means that they are not interested in giving me my order anymore. So as of today I have officially decided to cancel. They offer a fax number that currently does not work. I believe they should really focus on answering emails, offer a proper fax and phone number with voicemail capabilities . It is not like we can read each other's minds telepathically. The total order I paid is $112.76 minus the $30.00 which comes out to $82.76 refund owed to me.Customer response

beginning of May I ordered six Botia Striata, waited almost six weeks, received no fish. Attempted to communicate and find out where my fish were but they just refunded my money without any consultation. Waited two weeks, saw the fish were still listed as available, ordered six again. both times order plus shipping was in the neighborhood of $150.00. Second order showed up with no communication. fish were alive but so pale I could not tell what they were. Fish arrived 3 to a bag with about half a cup of water in each bag. I was quite surprised the fish were still alive. Once acclimated I could see they were not the species I ordered and sent Arizona aquatic gardens a message through their contact page but received no response. Filed a grievance with paypal, got a response. they are refusing refund claiming I did not follow procedure.Initial Complaint

On April 2, I ordered (2) Panda and (2) Blood Parrot Cichlids from the information and advertisements on their website and order form. On April 7, the fish finally arrived only to discover the fish that were delivered were not the one's ordered. Instead, they sent (2) Polar Blue Convict Parrots and (2) Normal Orange Parrots. In an prior email I had requested that the Blood Parrot be dark red with black markings. they agreed. The fish they sent are priced less than the ones I ordered. On April 9, I forwarded an email to Arizona Aquatic sharing my disappointment in the delivery and ask how they were going to resolve the issue? They responded "Blood parrots are not colored Red, they are orange and can vary from light to dark, just like the picture depicts and not all animals have the exact same markings and patterns, they are animals and come in many colors. The Parrot Pandas will also not have the same markings as the picture, they will vary in patterns and shadeds. That is why we have a disclaimer on our website about this very issue in our terms that you had to agree to before you could place your order. The information is also on the website on the ordering page. We will not sell to you again in the future, you will be band and we will also add your name and info to the national do not sell to list shared amongst many of the nations sellers because you went straight to a chageback and assumed that you were gettting exactly what was in the picture. Your actions and mindset are what hurt companies like ours.. I guess they don't believe in truth in advertising? In addition to the wrong fish, they also charged a high shipping fee for over nite delivery which actually took 2 1/2 days to be delivered to our home.Initial Complaint

Ordered on August 23rd, Shipped August 31st, delivered Sept 1st. This place is only an hour and a half from my house. Less than 24 hours from shipped to delivered and 75% of my fish were dead. I asked for a refund and its credits only. The fish were not only dead, but literally disintegrated. This is ABSOLUTELY not normal for this turn around time. They are clearly sharks sending out fish with 0 regard to their life, knowing they get to keep their money no matter what happens. Only an idiot would buy more fish from them after what I witnessed with these fish disintegration. So they got to keep 173 dollars from me and within the next 24 hours, every other one was dead as well. From the website: "We are real people, offering quality livestock, and trustworthy advice, backed with over 3 decades of experience! You can count on us! We operate with honesty, integrity, and old fashioned values. We’re pretty sure we have the BEST TROPICAL FISH for sale online and rock-solid advice you can count on!" Bullshit. They abuse fish 110% and give people half ass orders they don't care about (since they get to keep their money either way) and there are thousands of people saying this! This place needs to be shut down for animal abuse. Sick fish, dead fish, injured fish. It SICK. What I witnessed with my own order, I am shocked. I have been keeping fish for 3 years, we have 9 tanks. I have NEVER had this many dead fish in an order before. Maybe 4 DOA fish in 3 years and we have done tons of orders, and they have all been from OUT OF STATE! I LIVE AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY! The fish were hear less than 24 hours after they were shipped! It would be almost impossible to have disintegrated fish inside the bag after only 24 hours! They normally have to be dead at least 48 to 72 hours! This is ANIMAL ABUSE. Shut. Them. Down.
